Amira Air, an Austrian-based business jet operator, has added two additional Challenger 300 aircraft to be managed as part of it’s fleet. Amira Air now has a fleet of 14 aircraft including nine Challenger 300 business jets.

“We are delighted to have these two additional aircraft under our management. Due to our homogeneous fleet we are able to realise many cost advantages and pass these on to the aircraft owners. Furthermore, due to the number of similar aircraft, we can offer flexibility when there is an operational necessity for this. So, the Customers as well as the company benefits from this homogeneity of the fleet. We are very proud of the constant yet prudent growth of our company during the course of the last few years,” said Bernhard Wipfler, chief marketing officer of Amira Air.

Wipfler added: “Although all operators are facing difficult market conditions, our outlook for 2013 is extremely positive. We have a number of different projects in progress and we hope to be in the position to announce more exciting news soon. It is very important for us to make sustainable strategic decisions and to be successful in the long-run rather than simply going for short term, unsustainable profit.”
