AMETEK Aerospace continues to take Quantum Control

Component Control has
announced that AMETEK Aerospace & Defense’s MRO Division is continuing the
rollout of Quantum Control to include its Antavia business in France.
Scheduled for completion this summer, this facility
will be the fifth AMETEK MRO implementation with Quantum Control since rollout
began in 2010.

AMETEK’s MRO Division
locations running Quantum include High Standard Aviation in Miami,
Muirhead Avionics and AEM, both based in the United Kingdom, and its Singapore
MRO business.

“Our goal is to standardize
our MRO operations to improve process control and efficiencies, and provide
economies of scale as we grow our business in both volume and geography,” said
Stewart Douglas, vice president, IT, for AMETEK Aerospace & Defense. 
“With this additional location, we’re further streamlining our operations
across Europe and broadening our real-time
visibility into global MRO operations. AMETEK will install Quantum at three
further global facilities before the full rollout is complete.”
