The Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC) has received Part 145 maintenance organisation approval from the Russian State Centre of Aviation Flight Safety.

“Granted in November 2012, Airbus Corporate Jet Centre was the first foreign MRO centre approved by the Russian Ministry of Transport for the maintenance of Airbus A320 family aircraft, including corporate jets. In September 2011, we were already approved by the Ukrainian civil aviation authorities”, says Jérôme Ferasin, head of Services Sales.

Ferasin continued “The approval highlights our leadership in Eastern Europe, as well as the strong partnerships that we have forged with our ACJ customers from this area by mastering Airbus types and offering high quality work at affordable cost.”

With this approval, ACJC is now performing maintenance and aircraft modifications for several Airbus corporate jets in Eastern Europe, including governmental ACJ aircraft.

“In December 2012, we successfully signed a VIP Pass agreement with SFD Russia, the operator of two federal state Airbus ACJ319s, in what is the first customised package entirely dedicated to ACJ operators for long-term maintenance”, Ferasin said.

“We are very proud to be the reference for private and governmental Airbus corporate jets registered in Eastern Europe”, declares Benoit Defforge, CEO of the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre.

“We have built strong relationships with those ACJ customers, based on confidence gained during several completion, maintenance and refurbishment working parties, which demonstrates our ability to meet their very high level of expectations”, Ferasin concluded.
