El Seif Group, the Saudi Arabia conglomerate, today took delivery of a Bombardier Challenger 605 large business jet.

The company says it will use the corporate aircraft mainly for flights around the Middle East.

“Challenger aircraft have a reputation for being highly efficient jets,” said Khaled Al Seif, president and CEO, El Seif Group.

“We already operate a Challenger 600 jet and a Challenger 601 jet; both aircraft have proven to be invaluable tools, providing superior reliability, a spacious and comfortable cabin, and all of the amenities necessary to be productive during flight. The Challenger 605 jet was the logical choice for our next aircraft,” he added.

El Seif is involved in engineering and construction, healthcare, medical equipment, hospital supplies, operation and maintenance, and commercial investment, including real estate development, insurance and power generation.

“El Seif Group is the perfect example of a corporation that benefits from the convenience and time savings of corporate travel. We are proud to have them as a returning customer,” said Khader Mattar, regional vice president: sales, Middle East, Africa, and India, Bombardier Business Aircraft.

Mattar says that Challenger 600 family jets account for over 65% of the Middle East large aircraft fleet.

Bombardier says that the Challenger 605 jet is capable of flying five passengers non-stop from Riyadh to Beijing, Johannesburg or any European destination.
