PrivatAir to open in Bahrain

Privatair planning to offer charter and aircraft management from Bahrain. Due to launch by mid-Summer.

PrivatAir, the Swiss VIP and business aviation specialists, will launch operations from Bahrain later this year.

The airline exhibited at the inaugural Bahrain Airshow and says it is commitment to opening executive aircraft management and charter operations by September.

“We are extremely excited about our commitment to set up operation in Bahrain, which is a highly attractive and welcoming regulatory and business-oriented environment from which to operate in the Gulf region,” says Greg Thomas, president and chief executive officer. “By popular demand, PrivatAir will finally establish a physical presence in the region”.

PrivatAir was the launch customer for the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) and operates five of the aircraft on behalf of its airline partners, as well as a VIP-configured Boeing 757 that is available for private charter.
