Michael Amalfitano is the President and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets, leading the company’s global business with annual revenues in excess of $1.5 billion and an active fleet of more than 1,650 aircraft with over 1,000 customers worldwide. A long-standing industry veteran, Amalfitano has 40+ years of executive leadership experience in business aviation and financial services. He is a voting member of the Embraer SA Executive Leadership Management Board.
Prior to joining Embraer, Amalfitano led as Executive Vice President, Senior Managing Director of Business Aviation at Stonebriar Commercial Finance. Amalfitano also led as Managing Director, Executive Head of Global Corporate Aircraft Finance at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for over 22 years, following a decade-long tenure in sales management at GE Capital.
Amalfitano serves as a public member of the Board of Directors of Eve Holding, Inc. (EVE), a NYSE listed company (EVEX) in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). He is also the Immediate Past Chairman of the General Aviation Manufacturer’s Association (GAMA) and currently serves on their Executive, Finance, Investment, and Strategic Committees, following his previous role as Chairman of the Communications Committee. Additionally, Amalfitano serves as Chairman of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Advisory Council and is a member of the NBAA Board of Directors, Audit & Investment Committee, and Leadership Council. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) and serves on their Finance and Investment Committees.
Past board positions include former four-term OEM President representative for the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA), Chairman of the Associate Members Advisory Council for the National Aircraft Resellers Association (NARA), and two-term President of the National Aircraft Finance Association (NAFA).
Amalfitano graduated with a B.A. in Economics and a Master’s in Financial Management from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. He has written numerous articles for aviation industry publications and is an active speaker and panelist at business aviation summits, forums, virtual podcasts & webinars, and thought leadership conferences throughout the industry.
As a founding partner at Soar Aviation Law, LLC, Amanda Applegate brings her outstanding legal expertise as well as impressive negotiating skills and business savvy to the service of the firm’s clients. Ms. Applegate has been in private practice since 2011. She specializes in whole aircraft transactions and has successfully closed hundreds of sales and purchases for all types of business aircraft around the world. Additionally, she has unique and comprehensive understanding of fractional ownership due to her previous experience in that industry.
Prior to going into private practice, she served as Associate General Counsel and Vice President of NetJets Services, Inc., where she spent twelve very productive years with the company that pioneered fractional jet ownership. As the company’s Associate General Counsel, Ms. Applegate directed a diverse range of business, including multimillion-dollar contract negotiations, contract enforcement, fractional ownership and leasing, and daily business matters. She also worked with NetJet’s sister company, Executive Jet Management, and gained insight and experience into the field of whole aircraft ownership, management and operations.
During her first few years of private practice, Ms. Applegate represented 25 Avantair fractional owner groups, comprised of nearly 300 fractional owners, following the grounding of the Avantair fleet and subsequent bankruptcy proceedings. She managed the disposition and assessment of all planes and parts and devised sales opportunities for aircraft and associated equipment, including “as-is” live auctions and recertified brokered sales.
Ms. Applegate was admitted to the State Bar of Ohio after graduating from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1998.
Ms. Applegate is ranked by Chambers & Partners as one of the premier aviation attorneys worldwide. She speaks frequently on business aviation topics for organizations including the National Business Aviation Association. Since 2012 she has been a featured columnist for BusinessAir Magazine, writing monthly on key topics regarding the acquisition, ownership and operation of business aircraft. Ms. Applegate currently serves on the board of the Products and Services Member Advisory Council of the International Aircraft Dealers Association.

Robert Baltus’ aviation experience spans nearly 25 years advising and supporting senior management and executive Boards of a variety of aviation related companies. A business aviation specialist, Baltus is experienced in start-ups, fleet selection, training and strategic change management.
As Chief Operating Officer of the EBAA, Robert oversees a team of experts to monitor and provide analysis on European aviation policies, new technologies like AAM and is responsible for member engagement through events such as EBACE, EBAA Safety Summit and AirOps.
He has a business management degree from HES Amsterdam and an MSc in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University, was a JAA Accountable manager and is a Commercial Pilot rated on the Boeing 737.
Anthony Banome is the Director of Sales for Fontainebleau Aviation. Banome joined the company in 2017 to help manage, grow, and overlap all aspects of Fontainebleau’s facility and services in Miami. Building a strong network while providing first-class hangar, office, and fuel services is the company’s primary focus.

Anthony received his education from Saint John’s University Tobin College of Business in New York City. Before breaking into the corporate world, he taught Mathematics for the New York City Department of Education. After teaching, he honed his FBO management and aviation skills during his ten years as Director of Sales at Meridian – located at Teterboro Airport. Anthony was presented the “40 under Forty” award by Airport Business in 2013 for being one of “the best and brightest” in the industry. Banome is also a volunteer and active member in Humble Heroes. A group of committed volunteers joining forces with members of the FDNY to achieve one common goal; to lift the spirits of ill and grieving children. Disguised as the most infamous superheroes of our time, they visit local hospitals and grief centers to bring joy and inspire kids to keep fighting life’s injustices.
Joe directs Clay Lacy’s strategic commercial activities in aircraft management, jet charter, maintenance and FBO business units. His range of knowledge comes from a grass-roots career, having worked in many facets of the business. Joe began his aviation career in 2004 as an intern at an aircraft management and charter company, and credits the continuous learning opportunities and excellent mentors as a major component of his career. He’s a committed business aviation professional, to improve the business model and provide principal users with a legendary aviation experience. He’s an NBAA Certified Aviation Manager (CAM), and was named to NBAA’s inaugural class of “Top 40 Under 40” in 2018. He serves as the Chair to the NBAA’s Business Aviation Management Committee, which produces the NBAA Management Guide, and the NBAA Leadership Conference. Joe is also on the board of the Southern California Aviation Association, focusing his time on mentoring students pursuing careers in aviation. He holds an MBA from California Lutheran University and a B.S. in communications from California State University at Northridge.
Richard Berkemeier, ASA, Senior Appraiser at Pegasus Aircraft Appraisal Group, began his one-year term as International President for the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) effective July 1, 2022.
Mr. Berkemeier graduated from Cincinnati University and completed his required course of study for appraisal accreditation through ASA’s Appraisal Review & Management and Machinery & Technical Specialties program. He joined ASA in 1994 and earned his Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation in 2000. Richard has held many leadership positions, including most notably serving on ASA’s Board of Examiners, as International Vice President of ASA’s Board of Governors, as well as past Chair of ASA’s International Education Committee, ASA’s Budget and Finance Committee, and ASA’s Machinery & Technical Specialties Discipline Committee. He was also previously a member of ASA’s International Marketing Committee.
As an established senior appraiser, Richard owned and operated Pegasus Aircraft Appraisal Group, one of the world’s largest aircraft, helicopter, and parts appraisal firms, for more than 14 years. His strong passion for appraisal, valuation, and economic proposition related to aircraft and his expertise on this subject matter have taken him around the world, educating groups at the Big-4, Marsh, DLL, and many other businesses across six continents. He has taught appraisal classes in Russia, England, Japan, Australia, Germany, Korea, South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Canada.
Richard’s experience has included appraisals for many corporate jets, rare aircraft, helicopters, military planes, engines, spare parts, and simulators. He has been referred to as the “Appraiser to the Stars” and assisted high-profile individuals, sometimes involved in divorce cases, and has served as an industry expert witness.
Richard is a member of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the Helicopter Association International (HAI), the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT), and has been a featured speaker at many industry events. He is a life member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, a former board member with the Peace Museum, and a member of Congressman Joseph P. Kennedy II Finance Committee. Mr. Berkemeier graduated from Piqua Central High School and the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Berkemeier is also an avid collector of the works of James Ingram Merrill and William Congdon.
After founding FlyEasy Software, which is now a known brand in charter sales, Shaan continues to work with the parent company Tuvoli in the United States to drive further traction in the coupling of charter sales software and banking solutions for private aviation. Having worked on certification of the Bombardier Global platform changes with TC and FAA, along with serving the needs of the large fractional operator NetJets, Shaan brings a different perspective rooted in technology to the association with a strong understanding of the charter space.
Shaan’s passion for aviation began when he was working on flapping wing aircraft design during his engineering degree and flying Cessna 172 aircraft from Buttonville Airport, which you’ll often hear him describe saying: “You can get bit by the travel bug, but there’s also an aviation bug, and I’ve definitely been bit by both”.
As Chief Marketing Officer & Chief Strategy Officer of Jet Support Services, Inc (JSSI), Megha Bhatia leads the marketing and account management organizations as well as works closely with the remaining leadership team to shape the business strategy and direction.
Megha previously served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Rolls-Royce Business Aviation where she oversaw the strong growth of their aftermarket maintenance program, CorporateCare® Enhanced. In this role, Megha was also instrumental in the strategic development of additional services such as CorporateCare Flex and their sustainability program SAFinity, including spearheading SAFinity’s marketing campaign.
Prior to her role as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Megha amassed over a decade of experience specializing in sales, customer experience and strategy at Rolls-Royce. Over the course of her career, she has partnered with marine, airline and business aviation customers globally while based in United States, United Kingdom, and Singapore. During this time, Megha held key leadership positions heading aftermarket sales and business development for marine ship intelligence and transforming the customer support process.
Megha Bhatia holds a Master’s degree in business administration and a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from Embry-Riddle University. Megha is an active leader in the Business Aviation industry, serving on the National Business Aviation Association Advisory Council, the National Aircraft Finance Association Board, the International Aircraft Dealers Association Foundation Board, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Business Leadership Board.
Ed Bolen became the president and CEO of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) in Washington, DC, on Sept. 7, 2004.
Prior to joining NBAA, Bolen was president and CEO of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) for eight years. Bolen joined GAMA in 1995 as senior vice president and general counsel. GAMA’s board of directors elected him president and CEO in November 1996.
In 2001, Bolen was appointed by President Bush to serve as a member of the Commission on the Future of the U.S. Aerospace Industry. Established by Congress, the commission’s objectives were to study and make recommendations on ways to ensure American leadership in aerospace in the 21st century.
Bolen was nominated by President Clinton and confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve as a member of the Management Advisory Council (MAC) to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He chaired the council from 2000 to 2004.
Bolen is a member of the board of directors of the National Aeronautic Association. He also serves on the Aviation Advisory Board of the Mitre Corporation, a federally funded research and development corporation.
Prior to his association career, Bolen was majority general counsel to what is now the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. He also served as legislative director for U.S. Senator Nancy Kassebaum (R-KS) and was a key player in the passage of the General Aviation Revitalization Act of 1994.
Bolen received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Kansas. He is a graduate of the Tulane University School of Law and holds a Master of Laws degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
Bolen, a recreational pilot, is also a competitive tennis player and former captain of the University of Kansas varsity tennis team.
Sherry Cannon is the co-managing partner of EQUUS Global Aviation and was one of the founders of the company in 2013. Prior to EQUUS, Sherry had over a decade of aviation experience specializing in aircraft sales, purchase and sale contracts, and new aircraft positions with the OEMs with a focus on large cabin aircraft. She is regarded for her knowledge of the sales process and for facilitating and providing advice at every stage throughout the transaction.
Sherry has built trusted relationships and has extensive experience with an international customer base that has helped EQUUS grow both domestically and on a global scale.
Sherry earned a master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Concordia University in Montreal. She was born in Montreal and worked for investment firms after graduating from university and before transitioning to her ultimate career in aviation. She has been based in south Florida for 20 years which also serves as the company headquarters. Sherry is proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Lion Star Academy which is a non-profit school in Coral Springs, Florida for children with special needs.
Andrew Collins is the co-Chief Executive Officer (co-CEO) of Flexjet, and a lead executive in the company’s parent group with oversight of M&A, operations, and revenue management activities.
With over 18 years in the industry, he has evolved group company Sentient Jet into the defining brand and global market leader in jet cards. Under his leadership as President and CEO, the company flourished to become a $450 million EBITDA-positive entity, benefitting from a digital and business model transformation, in addition to an organizational restructuring. This includes setting market, product, and brand strategy, integrating a full suite of retail and wholesale technology applications, tripling sales, optimizing client acquisitions costs, and significantly moving top-line revenues.
Collins has spearheaded some of the group’s key M&A activities in recent years, including the acquisition of Halo Aviation in London in 2021 which was integrated with the further acquisition of Associated Aircraft Group in NYC to form Flexjet’s helicopter division – creating a global fleet of helicopters and a platform for future of flight vertical lift. Inclusive with this effort was an order for 200 eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) vehicles from Embraer’s EVE.
In 2018, Collins led the acquisition of jet card and private charter provider PrivateFly, a key milestone in the group’s expansion into Europe.
In recent years Collins has motivated a significant digital and technology transformation at Sentient Jet and across the group. This has included the creation of retail product, online consumer “touch points,” novel mobile applications, and a brand-new, supply-side platform for driving further efficiencies in flight time procurement.
With his direction, Sentient Jet also leveraged its exclusive partnership program to include such leading, world-class brands as Aspen/Snowmass, Sotheby’s, and YPO/WPO. In 2016, Sentient Jet became the first official private aviation partner ever for the Kentucky Derby and Churchill Downs.
Collins has been featured in a number of media outlets and forums including CNN, CNBC, Forbes, NBC, and the Wall Street Journal. In 2016, Sentient Jet and Collins were featured in a Harvard Business School case study entitled “Sentient Jet: The Uber of Private Jets.”
He received his BA from Union College and a Master’s Degree from the Sloan School of Management at MIT. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and the Wall Street Journal CEO Council.
Michael B. Cox is Senior Managing Director, Corporate Advisory & Investment Banking. Mr. Cox joined Seabury as a partner in Seabury’s principal advisory practice in April 1998. He has over 30 years of corporate and advisory experience covering corporate recovery, cash management, business planning and crisis management. At Seabury, Mr. Cox has advised numerous airline and
helicopter clients on a variety of projects, including airline treasury, corporate finance, and airline restructuring. In addition, Mr. Cox has been qualified as an industry expert in various commercial
disputes involving aircraft leasing matters, airline valuations and business plans for the
passenger, helicopter and cargo sector.
Mr. Cox has led a number of airline restructuring engagements including recent engagements for CHC, Waypoint Leasing, Frontier Airlines, South African Airways, Air Mauritius, and Gulf Air. Mr. Cox also advised a bondholder group holding over USD2.4 billion in claims with American Airlines in its Chapter 11 reorganization. Mr. Cox also led the Seabury team in successfully restructuring of the aircraft debt/lease obligations for the reorganization efforts at US Airways, Air Canada and
Northwest Airlines.
Mr. Cox received his M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Texas, Austin and his B.B.A in Business Management from Texas A&M University where he graduated magna cum
laude. Mr. Cox is a FINRA registered representative with the Series 7, 79 and 63 designations.
David Crick is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). He has just completed his term as the International President on the ASA International Board of Governors and also recently served as the Chair on the Finance & Leasing Committee of the Helicopter Association International.
David is the Managing Director of the DavAir Group, a company providing international aviation inspection, appraisal and advisory services.
He has an unparalleled passion for the aviation sector performing appraisals of both fixed wing & rotary aviation assets in Australia, the Asia Pacific Rim, the USA and various countries in Europe & the Middle East.
With over 20 years of specialised valuation and consulting experience to many different sectors, David has considerable knowledge of corporate valuation requirements for financial reporting, mortgage security assessments, insurance & liquidation disposals. He performs appraisals for finance and leasing, aviation sales, mergers and acquisitions, insurance disputes, and expert witness for the legal fraternity.
David has presented at various international forums addressing current issues in aviation assets and appraisal methodologies. He also lectures on Aircraft Appraisal methodology and processes in the USA and has recently been appointed as a Member of the Technical Standing Committee of The Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation.
Scott leads strategic development activities and directs marketing, sustainability, and workforce development initiatives across Clay Lacy’s diverse line of business jet services. He is a third-generation pilot whose business aviation expertise spans a wide spectrum of disciplines. His passion for aviation started early. Upon receiving his B.S. in business management from Biola University, he became a Certified Flight Instructor with instrument and multi-engine instruction privileges. In 2000 he began working as a dispatcher for an aircraft management and sales organization with four aircraft that grew to over 75 business jets in 25 cities in the U.S. and China. During his 14-year tenure he served as operations manager, sales director and then vice president of marketing and aircraft management.
Scott joined Clay Lacy in 2013 as vice president of marketing, later serving as senior vice president of business operations prior to his current role. In 2021 he received his Corporate Aircraft Manager (CAM) certification from the National Business Aviation Association. He serves on the National Air Transportation Association’s (NATA) Environmental Committee, the National Business Aviation Association Environmental Sub-Committee, the Paragon Aviation Network FBO Advisory Board, Air Elite by World Fuel Advisory Committee, and is an advocate member of the International Aviation Women’s Association (IAWA).
Shawn Dinning is Senior Partner at Dallas Jet International. He acquired his formal education at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in the areas of Operations Research and Management Science, and holds a degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Shawn brings 24 years of aviation experience from a variety of aviation disciplines, including FAR 91, FAR 121, FAR 135, defense, and shared ownership sectors. Shawn enjoyed a successful professional piloting career from 1998 to 2006 and holds a current Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with multiple type ratings. He is type-rated in the Gulfstream V / G550 / G500 / G450 / G350, Bombardier CRJ-200, and Citation 510 Mustang. He has logged over 6000 flight hours, with 4000 of those hours in corporate turbine aircraft. With over $1 Billion of aircraft transacted, his reputation for intelligent, meticulous, and “client-first” management of aircraft transactions makes him one of the most respected aircraft brokers in the industry. He also specializes in aircraft mission analysis, aircraft valuations, and cash flow and operating cost analysis for turbine aircraft owners. Shawn is consulted in various publications and speaking engagements for issues related to turbine aircraft transactions. Shawn has held various board member roles in the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA), and in 2022 was appointed as Chairman/President of IADA’s Aircraft Exchange, overseeing the exponential growth of IADA’s online marketplace. He is an IADA-certified aircraft broker and was one of the very first brokers in the industry worldwide to accomplish this certification. Keri L. Dowling earned her Juris Doctorate and was admitted to The Ohio Bar in 1998.
She represented the City of Cleveland before the FAA, NTSB and other governmental agencies, and in negotiations with tenants, landowners and contractors during the expansion of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, the largest civil aviation airport expansion in US history.
Keri Dowling represented various airports and aircraft manufacturers in civil litigation in both state and federal courts until 2005, when she, newly admitted to the Florida Bar, began to represent various aircraft owners in the purchase of aircraft, structuring of ownership and operational needs, as well as other transactional related matters.

He spent most of his career rising through ranks at the aircraft manufacturer, Hawker Beechcraft. As their Vice President of Global Sales, he led the entire sales team and oversaw the company’s international dealer network.

Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Rhode Island, in Kingston, Rhode Island, and a master’s degree in Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, in Troy, New York.
Ellis is the Co-Founder & a Managing Partner of Avpro, Inc. Chris graduated from Marietta College in 1987 with a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering. After graduation, he worked for Omni International Jet Trading Corporation selling private jet aircraft. In 1991, Chris along with two partners, Don Bass and Bob Rabbitt established Avpro, Inc. in Annapolis, Maryland. Over 30 years later, Chris continues to be directly involved in all facets of the sales and acquisitions processes. He has deep roots in all facets of the industry, possessing vast knowledge and expertise. Avpro is the one of the largest corporate aircraft brokerage and acquisition firm worldg $1 billion in rwide averaginetail sales annually, typically involving more than 100 transactions per year.

David Fowkes is a member of FTI Capital Advisors (“FTICA”), FTI Consulting’s investment banking subsidiary. Eddie Gross has almost 40 years of experience representing bank-affiliated, captive and independent financing providers and investors, as well as lessees and borrowers. in all aspects of aviation and other equipment finance transactions, including documenting, structuring, negotiating, syndicating and enforcing these transactions.
Eddie is considered an industry leader regarding the leasing and financing of all types of aviation assets, including fixed wing aircraft, helicopters and engine pools. Clients include market-leading aircraft and helicopter financing providers, investors and operating lessors, as well as large publicly or privately held businesses, governmental entities or high-net-worth individual lessees and borrowers. The business aircraft financed in these transactions include jets and turbo-prop aircraft operated primarily for the customer’s business purposes, or for transportation services including chartering, or pursuant to fractional or “pay card” arrangements. Chris leads our Eastern U.S. operations, headquartered in Oxford, Connecticut, guiding the flight operations, maintenance, finance and aircraft management teams. During more than two decades in aviation he has served clients ranging from Fortune 500 flight departments to the world’s most prominent individuals. Prior to Clay Lacy, Chris was president and director of operations at a leading charter and management company with a 30-year history, and director of operations at an air freight operator. He has also owned and operated his own aviation businesses, including aircraft leasing and owner/operator airshows.
Chris has 12,000 hours in more than 90 aircraft models, and is typed rated in Gulfstream G650, Global Express, Falcon 2000, Falcon 50 and several other aircraft. He holds an ATP Multi-Engine Land and Sea Certificate, and is a certified flight instructor. Chris graduated from the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at the University of North Dakota with a BS in Aeronautical Studies.
Keith Hayes is senior vice president and national sales manager of PNC Aviation Finance. Prior to joining PNC Aviation Finance in 2017, Keith was with Regions Bank, BB&T and GE Capital for 27 years where he held numerous leadership roles across different business lines, including the last 8 years as national sales manager for GE Capital Corporate Aircraft Finance. As Chief Operating Officer of JSSI, Ben Hockenberg leads JSSI Parts & Leasing, the procurement arm of the company, as well as the technical services and operations of JSSI maintenance software. Additionally, Ben has responsibility for the company’s maintenance event and insurance claims management service offerings.
In his role, prior to joining JSSI Parts & Leasing, Ben was focused on investing in the aerospace sector. He has worked in investment banking, private equity, and credit investing ant Deutsche Bank, The Pritzker Organization, Venor Capital and Greenbriar Asset Management. He hold an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
Sheila Kahyaoglu is a Managing Director in Equity Research at Jefferies, covering the Aerospace and Defense and Airlines sectors. She joined in March 2012. Ms Kahyaoglu has been ranked #1 or #2 in Institutional Investor’s All-America Research poll from 2020-2022 after being Runner-up in 2019. She was ranked Rising Star in the 2015 and 2014 polls. Vivek Kaushal serves as Chief Executive Officer for Global Jet Capital. Vivek joined the firm in 2015 and has been part of Management Team throughout, first as Chief Risk Officer, and most recently as President and Chief Operating Officer. Vivek has nearly 30 years of leadership experience in various financing businesses and was the Chief Risk Officer for GE Capital Business Aviation Finance prior to its purchase by GJC. Richard Koe is one of the two Managing Directors of WINGX, a market intelligence company which provides global insights into business aircraft utilisation. Together with business partner Christoph Kohler, Richard managed the growth of WINGX from concept to industry leader in data services, dashboard subscriptions and advisory services. In June 2023, WINGX was acquired by JETNET LLC, and Richard continues to lead WINGX within the JETNET group. Prior to WINGX, Richard held senior positions across a number of business aviation companies, having started out in the sector as a strategy consultant within an investment group owning assets in airline operations and private jet FBOs. Before this, Richard spent a decade in business development, sales and strategy positions in manufacturing, telecom and technology industries in Europe, US and Africa. Richard has a first class masters degree from Oxford and Johns Hopkins University.
Matt Liotta is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and exited four successful startups. His extensive business and entrepreneurial experience span several industries including agriculture, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, software, and now private aviation. Matt enjoys disrupting traditional and complex industries by developing agile, customer-focused products based upon insights, skills, and knowledge. Matt combined his business experience and years in private aviation as a passenger and pilot to create Volato, a full-service private aviation company with innovative solutions to fractional ownership, charter, aircraft management and jet cards. Volato has a fleet of HondaJets and Gulfstream G280s, and is forecast to reach 200 employees in 2022.

Nick is Director of Procurement at Bombardier for Propulsion, Avionics and Bombardier Defense. He is also responsible for the aftermarket strategy for Propulsion at Bombardier. Nick joined Bombardier in 2010, with prior experience in the Electronics distribution and telecommunications industries. Nick holds a BA Honours Degree in Business, from Nottingham Trent University, and has been located in Montreal since 1997, although he still considers England is “home”!
Mr. McElhinney is a Vice President at AE Industrial and is primarily focused on originating, executing and monitoring AE Industrial’s portfolio investments. Prior to joining Elevate, Randy served as the Chief Operating Officer for JSX, supporting Flight Operations, Aircraft Maintenance, Hospitality, Mission Control, and Engineering & Reliability. Randy brings over 20 years of commercial, private, and general aviation experience to EAG. Randy has held multiple escalating leadership roles that spanned large airline HUB operations, private jet account management, and senior leadership for large scale customer service and maintenance operations. His professional career was largely developed over 18 years in the Delta Air Lines family and culminated as the Chief Operating Officer for Delta Global Services. Bruce L. Marshall joined AIC Title Service as its Executive Vice President and General Counsel in February 2014, helping ensure that AIC’s clients and leadership are protected as they move through unprecedented FAA and industry changes. Marquis Who’s Who recognized Bruce as a recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020. With over 20 years’ experience in aviation legal matters, specializing in contracts, regulations, and litigation, he previously served as Senior Director and Division General Counsel of Bombardier’s Flexjet fractional aircraft ownership program where he strategically managed two cases challenging state and federal taxes that affected the entire fractional aircraft ownership industry and resulted in the refund of millions of dollars of paid taxes.
Bruce served as Chair of the State Bar of Texas Aviation Law Section for the years 2011-2012 and 2019. Adding to his depth of experience, he also taught Corporate Jet Investor’s Aircraft Transactions Masterclass US in November of 2019. He was elected as a Board member of the National Aircraft Finance Association (NAFA) in May 2021 and currently serves as chair of the association’s regulatory committee.
In private practice, Bruce served as corporate counsel and business manager for a charter management company with both Part 135 on-demand air cargo and passenger operations, served as vice president and legal officer for a major financial institution in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and in private practice, he represented banks, construction companies, transportation companies, and employee benefits funds in commercial litigation matters. Bruce graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s of Science in General Management focusing on finance and marketing and holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the Michigan State University College of Law. The BAI Group provided capital solutions to the Business Aviation Industry; specifically, asset-based lending on a medium to large sized business aircraft.
Before entering the business world, Chris served in the United States Marine Corps, as an F/A-18 pilot, Aircraft Maintenance Officer and Aviation Safety Officer. Chris is a graduate of the U.S. Navy & Marine Corps School of Aviation Safety and currently holds a commercial pilot rating. Prior to becoming the CEO and an investment partner at Skyservice in 2020, Murray spent more than a decade at NetJets (a Berkshire Hathaway company), where he held the president & chief operating officer position and also served as president & chief executive officer of Executive Jet Management, a fully owned subsidiary of NetJets. In that position, he doubled the company’s profitability by enhancing the breadth and quality of its aircraft management, charter, and MRO services and strengthening its market position. Murray also served as president for Landmark Aviation (a Carlyle-owned company), where he built the company into the second-largest FBO, MRO and aircraft management company in the United States before positioning it for a $2B sale to BBA Aviation (Signature Flight Support) in 2016. Jessie Naor is CEO of FlyVizor, an aviation M&A advisory and business consulting firm. She is a former founder and president of GrandView Aviation and serves as vice chairman of the Air Charter Safety Foundation Board of Governors. Scott Neal joined the Gulfstream leadership team in 2011 as senior vice president of Worldwide Sales and Marketing and has served as senior vice president of Worldwide Sales since 2016. He is responsible for the sale of new and pre-owned Gulfstream aircraft around the world and for the company’s contract management, sales support and aircraft completion, design and delivery functions.
Neal oversees a geographically dispersed sales team based throughout the United States and in strategic international locations including London, Vienna, Dubai, São Paulo, Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore.
After joining Gulfstream in 1994, Neal held positions in sales support and pre-owned aircraft sales and was a top producer as a sales executive and division vice president in the Central, South Central and Northeast United States sales regions.
Neal has represented Gulfstream at global events including the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the Milken Institute Global Conference in Los Angeles and the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Greg Norwood is the Sr. Sales Director for GE Aerospace. Greg is responsible for OnPoint sales outside of the Americas and LEAP VIP Services sales for the Americas and APAC.
Greg brings with him nearly 25 years of experience in aviation. Over the course of his career, he has extensive experience in repair and overhaul for GE/CFM powerplants. The last 11 years Greg has worked exclusively in Business Aviation specializing in sales, account management, customer support, and strategy.
Greg received a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Oklahoma State University. Greg currently resides near Wichita KS.
John Owen brings nearly 20 years of experience in management and financial consulting to the leadership team. John joined Airshare as CFO in 2016 and became President and CEO in March 2018. He originally fine-tuned his consultative skills and financial acumen working in progressively higher roles at State Street, Accenture, and KPMG. He previously was CFO for a supply-chain management company and most recently served as Vice President for a national executive search firm leading their private equity practice. James Person joined Viasat in 2013, where he leads sales and business development in the Business and VVIP Aviation segment of the company, an area that Viasat has been active in for more than ten years, including both Ka and Ku-band networks.
Prior to Viasat, Mr. Person had general management, sales, and product management roles in high technology wireless and satellites communications companies. He began his career as a US Naval officer where he deployed during combat operations to the Middle East twice on a destroyer.

Craig’s professional career started out with a passion for airplanes. After eight years experience as a decorated Naval Flight Officer with more than 100 combat missions, 2,000 hours of flight time and 325 aircraft carrier landings he sought challenges in business aviation where he spent more than seven years in sales with both Gulfstream Aircraft and Bombardier Business Aircraft.
During his tenure at Gulfstream, Craig helped drive sales efforts throughout the Middle East and Sub Saharan Africa regions and played significant roles in securing sales in Algeria, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. From there he moved over to Gulfstream’s newly created Government and Special Missions division where he was instrumental helping the company establish sales campaigns for head-of-state and militarized aircraft throughout the world including programs in the U.K, Australia, Israel, Sweden, and Denmark. He also helped to secure Gulfstream’s largest sale ever to the US Government which included firm orders for 37 Gulfstream Vs under the VC-X competition.
Andy Priester serves as Priester Aviation’s Chairman and CEO.
He is the third generation of Priesters to lead the business, the largest and oldest family-owned Management and Charter company in the world. The Priester family has a rich aviation history starting in 1945 including owning Palwaukee Airport – KPWK (now renamed Chicago Executive Airport), operating a flight school, operating multiple FBOs, providing 145 maintenance services, and operating an aircraft sales division. Priester Aviation currently focuses solely on Aircraft Management and Global Charter after the strategic sale of the other business units. In this role, Andy is dedicated to leading the growth of the organization and enhancing Priester’s position as the preeminent choice in aircraft management, aircraft charter and related aviation services. Andy currently sits on the board of the Air Charter Safety Foundation, is current Chair of YPO Chicago – Windy City, and past Chair of the National Air Transportation Association (NATA). Andy is a proud University of Dayton Flyer and holds a Master’s degree from Concordia University
Brian Proctor is founder, President and CEO of Mente Group, LLC. He founded Mente in 2009 and has been serving private aviation clients for over 19 years. Having been involved in over $8 billion in aircraft transactions and over $7 billion in aviation business planning, Brian’s experience is sought by corporations and individuals, worldwide.
After serving for six years in the US Army as an infantry Ranger and intelligence officer, Brian left the military to pursue a career in the private sector. After working at Transamerica Corporation, Mr. Proctor served as consultant, COO and President of the world’s second largest consultancy and broker/dealer.
Brian serves on boards for: International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA), Jet Aviation Advisory Board, and formerly, the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas. He also previously served as President of IADA. He holds a BA degree in International Studies in Politics and Diplomacy from the University of Richmond and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
President US Leona Qi joined Vista in 2016 as head of the Asia-Pacific market, where she tripled the customer base, and now serves as President U.S., Vista. With her leadership, the team is responsible for growing Membership across North America, the biggest and fastest growing market in business aviation. Mrs. Qi has over a decade of experience in capital markets and business aviation finance. Prior to joining Vista, she held various roles at Global Jet Capital, Guggenheim Partners, and BNP Paribas. As a French-American citizen, Matthieu Rosanvallon grew up in Paris and later lived in New York City for 25 years. He currently resides in Bergen County, NJ with his wife and 2 children.
With two close family members with very long-term involvement in the industry, Matthieu Rosanvallon has always had a passion for airplanes and business aviation in particular.
Matthieu is currently the Director of Sales and Acquisition at Freestream Aircraft, a global brokerage and consulting firm in Business Aviation.
Prior to joining Freestream, Matt served as Sales Director, Mid-Atlantic for Guardian Jet. He also previously spent 10 years as the Director of Sales & Marketing at the high-end New York-based commercial real estate firm, Coalition LLC.
Matt graduated from Clark University in Worcester, Mass., with a BA in Business Management and served as the President of the Entrepreneurship club.

Capt. Sakeer Sheik is the Founder and Managing Director of Titan Aviation, a leading Aircraft Management and Charter Sales company headquartered in the USA with operations spread across worldwide.
Capt Sakeer Sheik who is driven by passion and love for Aviation is one of the youngest Pilot to own an aircraft in India and started his career in the mid 1990’s with a Pilot Training Academy (Flight School).

Wayne Starling is an aviation industry consultant. His expertise is in Sales, Sales Management and Marketing. Previously he was a Senior Vice President and National Sales Manager for PNC Aviation Finance. He has been in the banking and finance industry for over 25 years, specializing in aviation for over 20 years. Prior to PNC, his career in aviation began with Aviation Finance Group, where he was part of a very successful startup company. He later stayed on to manage the aviation finance division after it was acquired by PNC Bank.
Wayne has extensive experience in sales, sales management, sales training, marketing, and strategic business development. Along with his success with Fortune 200 companies, he also has vast experience as an entrepreneur. His video sales training program -Success Cycle of Selling- has been a training program used by many companies. His program has been used by several of the nation’s largest banks and financial institutions to train their outside and inside sales organizations. Wayne has served as a board member on the National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA) and the National Aviation Finance Association (NAFA), as well as serving on the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Leadership Council. Wayne was honored in 2018 by the National Aviation Finance Association and was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for his leadership, contribution, and service to the association, its members and the aviation industry.
Ryan is the President and a co-founder of SmartSky Networks. Previously, he was also a co-founder of Davinci Jets, a leading private aviation management and charter firm in the Southeastern US. Davinci has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the Carolinas and nation, achieving high rankings as a consistent multi-year award winner in the Charlotte Business Journal’s Fast 50 and on the Inc 5000 list, both when he was CEO and later in his role as Chairman, until the company was successfully sold in 2018.
Prior to co-founding Davinci Jets, Ryan held engineering and leadership roles in Duke Energy’s Nuclear Generation Department from 2001-2007. He began his career serving as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy from 1996-2001. He holds an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan Flagler Business School and graduated with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy, where he earned a BS in Systems Engineering. He also holds 12 patents related to aviation telecommunications and is a licensed (inactive) professional engineer. Ryan is married with two children, enjoys travelling and anything to do with the ocean.
Christopher began his aviation career in 2010 by obtaining his private pilots’ license and has since become an accomplished pilot.
Prior to his career in aviation Christopher was a top graduate from Fairfield University’s Charles F. Dolan School of Business – Class of 2009. Upon entry into the private sector, Christopher immediately excelled in the areas of management, economics, sales, and entrepreneurship. He gained valuable experience while working at the Cintas Corporation and InMusic Brands, before starting his aviation career in 2012 with Magellan Jets.
Exiting Magellan Jets in 2016 as a partner, Christopher partnered with Kevin Wargo of the Dumont Aviation Group prior to starting Fly Alliance. Christopher’s sole focus continues to be on retail sales growth, specifically focusing on Private Jet Charter, Jet Card membership, Fractional Shares and Aircraft Sales/Management. Christopher has since mastered his approach, he and his team pride themselves on responsiveness, education, and providing a fair pricing model. Noted in Forbes, Christopher has been involved in multiple aircraft ownership transactions, has sold over 10,000+ Jet Card hours, and dispatched over 15,000+ flight legs. His commitment to your safety, service, and value is what sets him apart from the competition.
Fun fact, Christopher is a professional baseball umpire – He graduated from the Harry Wendelstedt Umpire School and has since become one of the youngest active NCAA baseball officials. Additionally, outside of his work, Christopher is heavily involved in the Providence business community and serves as an active alumni to his alma mater Bishop Hendricken High School. Christopher attributes all of his success to the work ethic and opportunities he was provided by his late father, Christopher P. Tasca.
When not talking airplanes, Christopher enjoys spending time with his family – a dedicated husband to Kristina and father to Olivia and Christopher III. As a family, they enjoy their summers on the water cruising Narragansett Bay and can always be found on Sundays surrounded by family at Christopher’s mother’s house, a mandatory Italian family tradition. Christopher enjoys racing in Lamborghini Super Trofeo, golfing, boxing and the arts, specifically playing the piano and attending PPAC, the Providence Performing Arts Center.
Jeff serves as General Counsel for TVPX’s 1031 exchange and FAA owner trusts businesses. Jeff is the current Chairman of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Tax Committee and is an active member of various other aircraft related organizations in the U.S. and Europe. Jeff has given presentations on aircraft tax, registration and related issues to most of the major manufacturers and lenders, and at various aircraft conferences including NBAA and HAI.
Shawn Vick has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry as a senior operating executive and as an advisor to private equity. He has held senior leadership positions at British Aerospace, Gulfstream Aerospace, Bombardier Aerospace, Landmark Aviation, Hawker Beechcraft, and AE Industrial Partners. He also has operating experience in the MRO and charter management segments of the business aviation market.
Currently, Shawn is a partner and member of the investment committee at AE Industrial Partners, a private equity firm specializing in aerospace, power generation, and specialty industrial investing with over $500 Million in assets under management. He is also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Global Jet Capital, an aircraft financing company with $2.5 Billion in assets owned by AE Industrial Partners, FS/KKR Advisor, LLC, and The Carlyle Group.
Over the course of his career Shawn has been heavily engaged in restructuring and M&A activities including divesting of Landmark Aviation’s FBO network, the restructuring of Hawker Beechcraft and subsequent acquisition by Textron, and the acquisition of GE Capital’s business aviation portfolio in support of Global Jet Capital’s emergence as a leader in business aviation financing solutions.
Shawn holds a BS from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and completed the Oxford Air Transport Course programs at Oxford College, England. He serves on the boards of three private companies. Mr. Vick is an active private pilot.
Peder von Harten is a 15 year veteran of the private aviation industry and currently leads all revenue, marketing, and branding as the Vice President of NICHOLAS AIR. A trusted leader in the industry, along with a frequent contributor for his opinion and expertise across the industry, his experience across multiple segments of the industry has helped springboard the exponential growth and popularity of the Mississippi-based program and operator, particularly in the past 24 months as flyers continue to eschew fractional and broker relationships in favor of Owned and Operated programs. Mr. von Weise is currently a Director and Global Head of the Aircraft Finance Group & Advisory Services at Citi Private Bank. The group provides private aircraft financing solutions and aviation advice to individual ultra-high net worth clients and their companies throughout the world. Mr. von Weise’s responsibilities and roles while at Citi have included loan origination, product program management, reporting and workouts. The group focuses on transactions typically in the range of $10 to $75 million.
Mr. von Weise has over twenty-three years of related business aviation experience, most recently serving as Vice President of Business Aviation Finance for Merrill Lynch Capital and GMAC Commercial Finance. Prior to joining GMAC, he was Vice President of Capital Transactions at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments,
where he was responsible for the recapitalization and workout of large multi-family properties throughout the U.S.
Mr. von Weise is also the most recent past president of the National Aircraft Finance Association and was appointed by the Boards of Selectmen from the Massachusetts towns of Concord, Lincoln, Bedford and Lexington as a member of the Hanscom Field Advisory Commission. He is also a past board member of the Massachusetts Business Aviation Association and a local volunteer representative for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
He is also an instrument rated pilot with over 2,500 hours of experience, aircraft owner, and a pilot for the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Mr. von Weise has also appeared on the Discovery Channel as an aviation expert in the Celebrity Crash Files, J.F.K., Jr, documentary series. He is also currently a member of the Board of Advisors for Brown Aviation Lease.
Ford began his career in the Credit Analyst Training Program at Chemical Bank and holds a joint History and Environmental Studies degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Vermont.
Johnnie White is an association professional with close to 30 years serving in a variety of management and leadership roles. In addition, White serves as an adjunct faculty member of Georgetown University and the Northern Virginia Community College. White holds his M.B.A. from University of Maryland University College. He has served in volunteer leadership roles for the American Society of Association Executives and the Professional Convention Management Association and has received numerous awards and recognitions for his association work.
Emily Wicker is a partner in the New York office of Clifford Chance and a member of the Global Asset Finance team. She focuses on aircraft financing and leasing, both in the commercial and business jet sectors. Ms. Wicker has extensive capital markets experience, including lease securitizations, EETCs and receivables transactions. Emily has significant restructuring experience, having acted for Northwest Airlines and American Airlines in their chapter 11 reorganizations. Suran Wijayawardana is presently the Chief Aviation Officer of FlyHouse, and responsible for oversight of all of its Aviation related verticals to include FlyHouse Air Carrier Operations, Maintenance, Aircraft Acquisitions and advisor to it’s technology platform. Prior to joining FlyHouse, Suran was the Chief Operating Officer of Alerion Aviation for the previous 8 years.
Suran’s career started in the mid-nineties running a major 141 Flight Training Center in central Florida specializing in ab initio training then transitioning into Business Aviation by starting a reputable charter intermediary. As President and Founder of ACP Jets, Suran started a successful charter management company, eventually effecting a successful merger in 2016 to create Alerion Aviation, A company with facilities in California, New York and Florida.
As a passionate Industry stakeholder voice, Suran is the previous chairman of the National Air Transportation Association Charter Committee as well as an invited participant of two major FAA Rulemaking Committees. Suran has also held advisory board positions for ARG/US and multiple other aviation companies.
Suran attended Iowa State University for Aerospace Engineering and a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University majoring in Aviation Science with minors in Human Factors / Aviation Safety.
Prior to joining Gogo in August 2017, Jim was the Vice President of Sales and Customer & Product support for BendixKing by Honeywell where he managed a team who were responsible for the sale and support of the BendixKing line of avionics for general aviation aircraft.
Jim has over 30 years experience in the aviation field starting as a Naval Flight Officer for the United States Navy where he was a Bombardier/Navigator in A-6E Intruders. After leaving active duty Jim held various sales positions with Avidyne Corporation and Bose Corporation before joining BendixKing in 2012.
Jim holds a MS in Aeronautical Engineering from the Naval Post Graduate School and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University.
