Why you can expect attendance to be up at NBAA 2013, as business aviation’s biggest annual event rolls into Las Vegas.

Viva NBAA 2013

I am willing to bet that the number of people attending NBAA next week will be up on last year.

There are several reasons for this: most people seem to think the market will soon start improving and this is a must-attend event; in 2012 there was a hurricane; and lastly – for some reason – lots of adults prefer Las Vegas to Disney World. (EBACE is held in Geneva each year which makes sense as a million dollar jet looks cheap compared to the pizza you ate the night before.)

This year, the big story looks set to be the launch of Dassault’s Falcon 5X, but there will be other surprises including the new Nextant Aerospace project.

If you are not attending, you will still be able to follow all the major developments on our site. We will have a new live news feed page which makes keeping up very easy and we will be sending out daily emails.

If you are in Las Vegas next week, I look forward to seeing you. Just remember not to get carried away gambling. Remember although the winners get the attention, Vegas is a city paid for by losers (and convention delegates).
