Postcard from the Isle of Man
The Isle of Man adds the 600th aircraft to its aircraft registry.
It has only taken the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry six years to become established as one of the world’s biggest business jet registries.
This week, it registered its 600th aircraft and the island held its third well-attended annual business aviation conference where government ministers and officials again stressed their commitment to aviation.
The registry has clearly been a big success but the island knows that others are keen to challenge it. However, the island is confident that it will keep growing.
