Acropolis Aviation, a VVIP charter operator based at TAG Farnborough Airport, has had its Wyvern Wingman accreditation renewed. The renewal award was handed over at NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas.

Wingman certification is a benchmark for aviation safety, reflecting a commitment to best practice and the highest level of safety and protocol. Acropolis Aviation has held Wingman status since 2011.

Paul Travis, ground operations manager at Acropolis, accepted the award from James Nicoletti, audit operations manager at Wyvern Consulting.

Travis said: “Retaining Wyvern status is hugely important for our business. The accreditation is recognised by our valued charter brokers – on both sides of the Atlantic – where our flagship Airbus ACJ319 G-NOAH flies back and forth.”

“Being able to consistently meet the Wyvern standard is testament to an organisation’s commitment to safety. Congratulations to Acropolis Aviation on passing their fourth Wingman audit. Acropolis’ continued commitment to safety keeps them at the forefront as a leader in safety culture,” added Nicoletti.
