Aircraft salvage specialist White Industries in Missouri has been put up for sale by its elderly owners.

White Industries, one of the largest aircraft salvage yards in the world, has been put up for sale by its owners.

Based in Bates City, Missouri, White Industries offers parts from aircraft that they have salvaged.

The sale covers all assets of the company, including Harry S Truman regional airport.

Also included is the company’s current inventory of aircraft, estimated to include 1,000 turboprop and jet aircraft, along with 1,700 single engine and multi-engine piston aircraft.

An advertisement on the White Industries webpage says the 58-year old company is offered for sale due to the age of the owner.
