VistaJet launches Chinese website as local growth accelerates


VistaJet, the Malta based charter specialist, has launched a new Chinese language website to capitalise on increased movements and customer signups in the country.

VistaJet launched Chinese operations in July 2015 with a Challenger 850 aircraft transferred from the mainline fleet to local operator Apex Air.

The company says that China is one of the fastest growing countries in its network. Through the first half of 2017 worldwide membership sales increased by 57%, with customer retention reaching 91%.

Driving VistaJet’s decision to invest further resources in China was a 100% customer retention rate, coupled with double digit increases in the numbers of passengers arriving and departing from the country.

“This is undoubtedly a good moment to build the demand we are experiencing from around the world.” said Leona Qi, president, VistaJet Asia. “Like all our patrons, the Chinese customer demands a perfect, bespoke flying experience and one that begins long before that first booking is made. This is the value that VistaJet offers all of its customers, and our focus is to provide them with the best possible service.”

VistaJet were the first operator to offer Chinese clients integrated booking options through local social media platform WeChat.

The service, launched during 2017s ABACE show in Shanghai China, allows VistaJet customers to book flights directly from their smartphones.
