World Fuel Services in Miami, Florida has added three new FBOs to its growing Air Elite Network in the Caribbean and South America.

The Air Elite Network, which was established in late 2011, now has 37 locations worldwide. Each FBO must meet a number of airport, facility and service quality standards in order to qualify for membership.

The new additions are: YU Lounge (Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport in Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis); Jet Centre Curacao (Hato International Airport in Willemstad, Curacao); and Ecuacentair (Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito, Equador).

Operated by Leeward Flight Services Limited, YU Lounge officially signed with the Air Elite Network in December, 2014 at the Middle East Business Aviation exhibition in Dubai.

Desigen Vythilingum, deputy general manager of Leeward Flight Services, said: “YU Lounge has been eager to join the Air Elite Network as the service and facility standards and commitment to raising the service bar for operators is in perfect alignment with the YU Lounge customer service philosophy. We look forward to growing globally with the Air Elite Network.”

Jet Centre Curacao recently started operations in January, 2015 and is Hato International Airport’s first private terminal dedicated to serving business & general aviation customers with a luxurious experience.

Ralph Blanchard, CEO of Curacao Aviation Partners, said: “Jet Centre Curacao is very excited to be one of the newest members of the Air Elite Network along with the other quality FBOs who have recently joined the network. We look forward to the increased industry marketing presence at shows, while partnering Jet Centre Curacao with the strength and reputation of the Air Elite brand.”

Ecuacentair, an Ascent branded FBO, operates a modern, attractive facility built in 2013 within the General Aviation Building at Mariscal Sucre International Airport.

Silvio Tano, FBO director of Ecuacentair said: “Ecuacentair’s experienced team strives to provide our customers a best-in-class FBO experience when visiting Quito by anticipating and meeting our customers’ needs. We are grateful to be given the opportunity to be one of the first Air Elite FBOs in the Latin American market and we are excited to grow with the network in the future.”
