The DAHER-SOCATA TBM 900 makes its European show debut at AERO Friedrichshafen 2014.

The new DAHER-SOCATA TBM 900 single engine turboprop has made its European show debut at AERO Friedrichshafen 2014 in Germany. The company also delivered TBM 900 during the show to RAS GmbH, the TBM distributor for Austria and Germany.

Stéphane Mayer, president and CEO of DAHER-SOCATA, said: “AERO 2014 brings together an audience of some 30,000 visitors, many of which are pilots. Therefore, it provides the right venue for introducing our TBM 900 to the European market, and to explain the three years of intensive work that covered everything from market surveys, product strategy to engineering and manufacturing.”

Nicolas Chabbert, senior vice president of DAHER-SOCATA’s airplane business unit, said: “At AERO we can see that successful general aviation products are the ones that offer a good performance/cost ratio, along with environmental friendliness – which are designed-in attributes for our new TBM 900.”

Currently, DAHER-SOCATA has orders for 44 TBM 900 and have so far delivered six aircraft to customers. The company will display the TBM 900 at EBACE in Geneva, Switzerland from 20-22 May 2014.
