TAG Aviation has streamlined its charter structure to provide greater focus on and resources to its sales organisation and “advance both the growth of its aircraft management fleet and the development of more direct charter clients”, according to the company.

Florent Sériès, vice-president of sales and marketing at TAG Aviation Europe, has extended his current charter responsibilities to head up all TAG Aviation’s sales activities including overseeing all charter sales in Europe and advancing new aircraft management acquisitions.

Andrew Hodgson has been appointed sales director for charter services in Europe. He was formerly aviation director at TCS World Travel and was responsible for creating the concept for the B757 that TAG Aviation now operates. Prior to that Hodgson spent seventeen years in commercial aviation.

Andrew Jurd returns to the organisation as charter manager for the UK from Starflight Aviation. He was at TAG for seven years in the UK’s charter team and has also undertaken various other airport and airline positions at leading aviation organisations.

Sergio Saz will lead all charter sales in Spain and brings almost twenty years of aviation experience to his role, sixteen of which have been spent in charter sales.

Starting his career at Gestair Aviation, Saz later worked at TAG’s Madrid centre for two years, before joining the sales team at executive airlines in Spain. Joao Pachaco retains his responsibilities as charter sales manager for Geneva.

Sériès said: “Charter activity has always played a major role in the development of TAG Aviation. With these new additions, TAG completes the transition from a traditional operator model to a customer focused charter operator and broker, enabling our teams to offer unique charter solutions to our growing base of charter clients.”
