Stratajet has expanded its senior management team with two new appointments.

Ricardo Gato joined the company as the new head of marketing, and Sarah Holian joined as Head of Operations & Customer Service

  • Gato had previously spent seven years with NetJets, but joined Stratajet following a spell with Victor where he was the global head of marketing.

“Having been with both NetJets and Victor,” said Gato, “I completely understand the need for a truly instant booking platform where you can book a jet in real-time, without the need for multiple quotes and back and forth emails. Stratajet has the technology to drastically increase efficiency in the private aviation industry and I’m looking forward to being part of that.”

Holian has over 14 years’ worth of private aviation, having previously worked for Harrods Aviation, and Ocean Sky. With Stratajet she will run the operational team and has responsibility for managing bookings as well as customer requirements.

“Stratajet has solved the highly complex problem of managing the data for the many and variable aspects of private charter such as airfield limitations, aircraft real-time availability and accurate pricing all round, in order to provide the end user and aircraft operators genuine instant booking online,” said Holian. “This is a first and as such is unique and revolutionary for the industry and something I am very excited to be a part of.”

Strtajet founder and CEO Jonny Nicol will be speaking at the upcoming Corporate Jet Investor London conference, where he will be part of a panel discussing what is holding business jet charter back.
