Nextant Pacific has sold a 400XTi air ambulance to CareFlight in Australia.

The aircraft will be based at CareFlight’s Darwin Jet Base.

John Oppenheim, managing director of Nextant Pacific said: “The aeromedical business is a key focus area for Nextant Pacific, and we are delighted that CareFlight chose to partner with us for their important work in the Northern Territory.”

Paul Smith, general manager of CareFlight said: “The addition of this airplane to our fleet will greatly enhance our capability in the North domestically and internationally in Asia. The increased range of the Nextant, state-of-the art avionics and competitive operating cost make it a welcome addition to our fleet.”

“We have counted on John Oppenheim’s market knowledge in the past to assist with acquisitions and are pleased to again work with him at Nextant Pacific. We have an ongoing relationship with Nextant Pacific that supports CareFlight’s mission to lead the aeromedical industry,” Smith added.
