The Latin America Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition attracted 15 per cent fewer visitors in 2014, continuing the decline that started the previous year.

Despite show attendance growing gradually since its beginnings in 2003, attendance figures for 2014 were down by 30 per cent on 2012.

The 11,681 people that attended in 2014 is only 381 up on the 11,300 that attended the 2008 show.

The figures, released by show organiser Associação Brasileira de Aviação Geral (Abag), come at a time when confidence in key markets like Brazil are showing signs of weakening.

Embraer’s latest market forecast shows a slow down not only in Latin America, but also in other developing economies.
