JETNET data from the first seven months of 2013 has revealed that the business jet sector was slow to take-off this year, with a 6.4 per cent decrease in pre-owned sales and a 36 day increase in transaction time.

The data also shows an 11 per cent increase in average asking price between January and July, marking the third consecutive month this year where the year-to-date average asking price has increased.

When looking at the data from July 2013 seperately, the differences from last year are less significant, with only a 0.4 per cent decrease in percentage of the business jet fleet for sale when compared with July 2012.
