Jet Aviation appoints Vitaly Aleksikov as general manager at Moscow
Aleksikov joined Jet Aviation Moscow in 2009 and will now take-over as the facility’s new general manager.
Jet Aviation has appointed Vitaly Aleksikov as the new general manager at the company’s facility in Moscow. Aleksikov joined Jet Aviation in 2009 and most recently served as director of engineering at the Russian base.
Aleksikov will be responsible for overseeing operations at the maintenance and AOG facility. This includes supply chain management and quality control, as well as liaising with aviation authorities and the local community.
Aleksikov is a graduate of Aviation University in Riga, Latvia, where he specialised in aircraft maintenance and engines. He is fluent in English as well as Russian.
Stefan Benz, vice president of MRO and FBO operations, EMEA and Asia, said: “Aleksikov has considerable experience as well as critical knowledge of the Russian market and operating conditions.”
