Jet Aviation Dubai receives FAA approval for testing shop
Jet Aviation Dubai has received FAA approval for its recently added a non-destructive testing (NDT) shop.

With this approval, Jet Aviation Dubai expands its maintenance capabilities to include florescent penetrant testing (FT), ultrasonic testing (UT) and eddy current testing (ET). The company is also working to secure General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) approval for the United Arab Emirates as well as EASA approval.

“The decision to expand our capabilities to offer a seamless end-to-end NDT service was made in direct response to customer feedback. We believe our on-site NDT Shop will also help us to improve efficiencies in our Wheel Shop services, while further enhancing our structural inspection and repair capabilities under one roof,” added Butschi.
Jet Aviation Dubai’s maintenance and FBO location was established in May 2005 as a joint venture company with the Al Mulla Group. The facility has hangar space, a workshop area and a two-story FBO building. The facility holds EASA maintenance approval and is an FAA repair station. It also holds Bahrain CAA, Bermuda DCA, Cayman CAA, India DGCA, San Marino CAA, Saudi Arabia GACA, UAE GCAA (NAA), Pakistan CAA and Afghan CAA approvals. Jet Aviation Dubai is an authorized service center for maintenance and warranty support to Boeing BBJ, the Gulfstream G150, G200, GIV and GV, G450, G550 and G650 series, the Dassault Falcon 900, 2000 and 7X series, and full service capability for Hawker Beechcraft 800/900 series, Airbus ACJ series and Embraer Legacy aircraft.
