Jet Aviation Dubai completes and re-delivers an upgraded Gulfstream G550 to a Middle Eastern customer.
Jet Aviation Dubai has re-delivered its first Controller Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) & Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast Out (ADS-B Out) upgrade on a Gulfstream G550 for an undisclosed customer in the region.
Controller Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) & Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast Out (ADS-B Out) are advanced avionics systems that offer improved communications between air traffic control and the aircraft.
Wajahat Ali Khan, director of Safety & Maintenance at Jet Aviation Dubai, says: “This particular upgrade was technologically challenging and logistically complicated. I am very pleased to note that our team of qualified technicians worked tirelessly to re-deliver the aircraft on schedule.”
“We continuously strive to improve our capabilities by investing in new technologies and the ongoing training of our employees. Our goal is to meet or exceed customer expectations while ensuring their safety. This upgrade demonstrates our commitment to doing so,” adds Hardy Bütschi, vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation Dubai.
Jet Aviation Dubai’s maintenance and FBO location was established in May 2005 as a joint venture company with the AL Mulla Group.
