Airbus and Jet Aviation ASC signing at EBACE 2016

Jet Aviation has been appointed as an MRO authorised service centre (ASC) by Airbus for its Corporate Jets.

“As an ACJ-appointed service centre, we are pleased to offer our customers comfort and peace of mind, knowing that we are cooperating closely with the original manufacturer.”

Estelle Thorin, director of the Large Aircraft Maintenance Operation at the Jet Aviation maintenance centre in Basel said: “As an ACJ-appointed service centre, we are pleased to offer our customers comfort and peace of mind, knowing that we are cooperating closely with the original manufacturer.”

“ACJ appointed the Basel maintenance centre in recognition of our significant expertise, quality workmanship and professionalism, and I am very proud of my team. Without their dedication, this appointment would not be possible,” added Thorin.

Johannes Turzer, senior vice president and general manager of Basel said: “We have a long-standing working relationship with Airbus and are honoured by their decision to add us to their authorised service centre network. This service agreement represents an implicit commendation from Airbus regarding our commitment to the highest aviation standards, which is how we strive to earn the continued trust of all of our customers and partners.”

Benoit Defforge, managing director of Airbus Corporate Jets said: “ACJ customers and operators already benefit from a worldwide support network sized for more than 500 customers and operators around the world. The ACJ service centre network complements this by adding services tailored to corporate-jet operator needs.”
