Hawthorne Global opens new Chicago FBO

Hawthorne Global Aviation Services has announced the opening of its newly-built FBO at Chicago Executive Airport, featuring hangar and office space, along with a range of services for passengers, crew and private jet owners.

The Hawthorne Chicago FBO features a large hangar, able to accommodate a range of private jets up to a Gulfstream G650. A terminal for passengers and amenities such as pilot lounges and conference facilities. It is also a full-service Shell fueling station.

Steven Levesque, president and CEO of Hawthorne Global Aviation Services, said: “We built this brand new facility to meet the growing demand for premier corporate and business aviation services in the Chicago area, a vibrant top three general aviation market in the United States.”

“With this FBO, it broadens our geographic footprint of FBOs throughout the US to now include the largest market in the Midwest,” Levesque added.

David Annin, general manager at the Chicago FBO said: “We are very excited to bring the world class service of Hawthorne Global Aviation Services to the Chicago market.”

Chicago Executive Airport is one of the busiest airports in Illinois and is the main reliever airport for Chicago O’Hare Airport.
