Hawthorne Global opens Custom facility at Cobb County
Hawthorne Global Aviation has opened US Customs inspection facilities at Cobb County International Airport.
Cobb County International Airport is the first Atlanta metro-area general aviation airport to offer on-site customs inspections.
The airport say that customs services will be available immediately.
Bryon Burbage, president of Hawthorne Global said: “Travellers to our Atlanta FBO will soon have easy access to US Customs, making it an international destination for private jet travellers. This makes our Atlanta FBO an even more attractive option for international private jet travellers to the Atlanta area.”
Karl Von Hagel, airport manager, Cobb County International Airport said: “We are excited to announce the opening of our U.S. customs building, adding to the offerings at Cobb County International Airport.”
In addition to offering on-site US Customs inspection, the Hawthorne Atlanta FBO has hangar space capable of accommodating aircraft up to Gulfstream G650 size, a passenger terminal, and conference facilities.
Cobb County International Airport is the second busiest general aviation airport in Georgia, and offers the longest general aviation runway in the Atlanta area.
