Gulfstream Aerospace has named Fabio Rebello as the new regional senior vice president international sales for Florida and Latin America, including the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico and South America.
Rebello joins Gulfstream’s sales team from Bombardier, after holding the position of regional vice president of sales for Latin America since 2002. His CV also includes positions at Raytheon and Embraer, where he started his aviation career as an engineer.
Rebello will report to Scott Neal, senior vice president for worldwide sales and marketing, in Orlando, Florida and the move will see Roger Sperry, who had been representing Gulfstream in South America and the Far East, become regional senior vice president for international sales in the Asia Pacific region.
“Fabio has deep roots in the aviation industry in Latin America,” said Neal. “His unique knowledge of the market will help advance Gulfstream’s ever-expanding presence in the region. With Roger [Sperry] now focusing exclusively on the market in Asia Pacific, the company is well positioned in both regions. Customers will have even easier access to our team’s aviation knowledge, experience and expertise.”
Rebello was born in Brazil and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
