Gulfstream appoints John King as Director of Field and Airborne Support Teams Operations

Gulfstream Aerospace has recently appointed John King as director of its Field and Airborne Support Teams (FAST) Operations. Based in Savannah, Georgia, King reports to Mitch Choquette, vice president, Customer Support, Gulfstream.

His responsibilities are to oversee the company’s efforts to ensure a swift, coordinated response to operators needing unscheduled maintenance.

Gulfstream FAST includes more than 100 dedicated technicians worldwide, two G150 aircraft and 12 specially equipped vehicles.

King joined Gulfstream in 2013 and most recently managed Gulfstream’s FAST teams in Hayward, Long Beach and Van Nuys, California; Las Vegas and Seattle. He has more than 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, including gaining a US FAA aircraft and powerplant licence and is a US Army veteran.
