Gainjet Aviation in Athens has added an Embraer Legacy 600 business jet to its fleet of aircraft available for private charter.

The Embraer Legacy 600 (registered SX-DGM, built in 2007) was delivered on 28 January 2014 and is expected to be available for charter by the end of February 2014.

The Legacy 600 can carry up to 13 passengers and has a large baggage hold. The cabin has six individual VIP seats, a club-four dining area and a comfortable three-seater sofa.

Captain Ramsey Shaban, president of Gainjet, said: “We’re very proud of this new addition to our fleet and have no doubt it will be popular amongst of our clientele. Its comfort and size, combined with its onboard features make this one of the best super mid-size private jets on the market.”

Gainjet Aviation currently has a fleet of Boeing jets, Gulfstreams, Global Expresses and Challenger aircraft. The company expects to take delivery of a new Gulfstream G650 later this year.

Shaban said: “The acquisition of our new Legacy 600 fills a void that once existed in the GainJet fleet and we’re glad to welcome it to the team. We at GainJet want to provide our customers with the best possible solution for their VIP travel needs. So having a diverse fleet assists us with that mission. With a wide selection of VIP aircraft at our disposal, we can ensure the customer gets the right jet for their needs, whether the requirement is for a specific size, capacity, range, or combination of these factors.”
