Embraer to deliver Legacy 450 & 500 to Russia before end of year

Embraer will deliver a Legacy 450 as well as a Legacy 500 to Russian customers before the end of the year.

The Brazilian manufacturers regional director of sales for Russia and the CIS Nikolai Goloviznin told Russian business aviation news website BizavNews that both aircraft will be placed on the Russian civil aircraft register.

The Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 are currently undergoing the final stages of type certification in Russia, with the process expected to be completed before the end of September.

Embraer’s Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 have been very successful in Russia, with as many as 25 aircraft based in the country. The vast majority are registered in other countries, however the Russian register does include a two Legacy 600s and a single Legacy 650.
