Comlux America in Indianapolis

Comlux America in Indianapolis has been awarded a refurbishment contract for a Boeing Business Jet based in Asia.

Comlux America expects to receive an Asian-based BBJ for refurbishment at its Indianapolis facility during the second quarter of 2014. The aircraft’s owner is represented by the aircraft management company, Sino Jet.

The maintenance programme includes a mandatory 12 year-check, new painting and a major cabin refurbishment with complete re-upholstery of the seats, new custom made carpet and several reworks on valence panel and bulkheads.

Jenny Lau, CEO of Sino Jet, said: “The owner wanted to bring light into his aircraft. Thanks to the new material selection: leather, suede and the choice of colors: white, light beige and gold, the designers of Comlux America have managed to create his vision all throughout the cabin.”

Comlux America’s refurbishment facility is in Indianapolis and is able to perform major overhauls and VIP cabin designs and completions.
