Peter Griffith is replacing Colin Steven as head of sales and marketing for the EMEA division. Peter Walker is replacing José Eduardo Costas in Asia, with Costas becoming vice president market intelligence.

Colin Steven is leaving Embraer Executive Jets eight years after he took over the European, Middle East and African Division.

Peter Griffith is leaving a similar role at HondaJet to replace him. Griffith joined HondaJet in 2013 from Cesssna Aircraft.

Steven is expected to stay in business aviation and is not joining another manufacturer.

José Eduardo Costas is leaving his role of sales and marketing, Middle-East and Asia-Pacific to return to the company’s headquarters in Brazil to become vice president market intelligence, Embraer Executive Jets. Peter Walker is replacing him.

“I’m pleased to welcome Mr. Griffith and Mr. Walker, who bring unique business aviation knowledge and experience to lead their sales teams, and to strengthen our presence in their regions,” said Marco Túlio Pellegrini, president and CEO, Embraer Executive Jets. “I also extend my gratitude to Mr. Steven and to Mr. Costas for their instrumental roles in building Embraer Executive Jets’ presence in their respective markets, and for leading these seamless transitions.”

Steven’s departure follows the retirement of Ernest Edwards who left his position as President of Embraer Executive Jets at the end of 2013.  It also means that Embraer has seen a lot of change in its EMEA team in the last 12 months losing: Lynton van Aswegan, who headed African sales; Simon Burrows who has joined Bombardier; and Peter Kabliner, its sales manager based in Germany.
