Bombardier takes LearJet 75 on first Latin American outing

Bombardier will take its new LearJet 75 on a tour of Latin America, with the dates coinciding with several key events in the region.

Bombardier will take its new $13 million LearJet 75 on a tour of Latin America, with the dates coinciding with several key shows in the region.

The tour will take in Aero Expo at Mexico City’s Toluca Airport between March 5-8 and FIDAE in Santiago, Chile, from March 25-31.

Bombardier will also take the chance to showcase the new aircraft during stops in stops in Panama, Guatemala, Colombia and Brazil.

“We are very proud to bring our new Learjet 75 jet to the region for the first time,” said Stéphane Leroy, regional vice president, Sales, Latin America for Bombardier Business Aircraft.

“This aircraft, with its fusion of modern design, Learjet heritage and top performance, was developed with the needs of our customers in mind.” he added. “We are convinced that this new Learjet aircraft will not only maintain, but grow our market share in the region.”

Bombardier delivered the first LearJet 75s in the final month of 2013, with the handful of aircraft leaving the factory counting towards the 180 total private jets that the Canadian airframer delivered last year.
