Bombardier is launching the Challenger 605 MAX programme to reduce direct maintenance costs (DMC). Bombardier will replace key components with the latest configurations that meet the baseline operational level of the current production model.

The manufacturer will provide customers with these upgrades in order to improve dispatch availability and significantly reduce DMCs. The scheme builds on the success of the Challenger 300 programme.

All current Challenger 605 aircraft operators will be eligible for the Challenger 605 MAX programme, which will be introduced to the fleet during the first half of 2014. Work will be performed at a wholly owned Bombardier service centre or any authorised service facility certified for the Challenger 605 aircraft.
