Boeing launches BBJ MAX 9

Boeing Business Jets has launched the BBJ MAX 9 with an order from an undisclosed European customer.

The aircraft is based on the 737 MAX9 commercial airliner.

David Longridge, president of Boeing Business Jets says: “We are thrilled to announce that the BBJ MAX 9 program is officially launched with our first BBJ MAX 9 order.”

“While maintaining the unmatched cabin comfort of today’s BBJ, the BBJ MAX’s lower fuel use, increased range capability, updated flight deck, lower noise and reduced emissions enable the airplane to better meet the diverse needs of our VIP customers,” adds Longridge.

Boeing has previously booked four orders for the BBJ MAX 8 model.
