2-REG Channel Islands Aircraft Registry adds first private jet
2-REG, the Guernsey based Channel Islands Aircraft Registry has registered its first business jet.
The Channel Islands Aircraft Registry, which is also known as 2-REG, has registrered its first corporate jet, a Gulfstream GIV.
The aircraft, with registration mark 2-TRAV, is owned by a Channel-Islands based company and operated by ExecuJet Aviation Group. It moved from the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry where it was registered as M-IVSP (msn 1224).
‘The continued success of 2-REG is underlined with the entry of the first corporate jet. We are particularly pleased that a Channel-Islands based company opted to be the first and transfer their aircraft to 2-REG,” said Wim Ovaa, executive director of 2-REG.
Guernsey only started marketing its 2-Reg services to business jets in February and has also registered more than 10 other aircraft, including several commercial aircraft that are between leases.
