Enflite wins Gulfstream contract

Enflite, a division of LifePort, subsidiary of Sikorsky Aerospace Services has won a contract to provide customised interior cabin mechanisms and galley appliances for Gulfstream G650 executive jets

Enflite, announced the
signing of an agreement to provide interior cabin mechanisms and galley
appliances for the Gulfstream G650. Enflite is a division of LifePort, LifePort
is a subsidiary of the Sikorsky Aerospace Services company, the aftermarket
division of Sikorsky Aircraft, itself a subsidiary of United Technologies.

“Gulfstream’s aircraft are
some of the most technologically advanced business jets in the industry. Our
cutting-edge designs meet their gold standard requirements, and we are very
pleased to provide turn-key equipment for their latest G650 cabin upgrades.
Enflite continues to advance design innovations to meet customer needs
worldwide,” said Jeffery Jannitto, mission equipment director, Sikorsky
Aerospace Services.

The G650 cabin has many
electrically driven devices inside the passenger and crew space. Enflite’s
electric console table, the only one of its kind in an OEM aircraft, is offered
as a turn-key product including the table mechanism, table top and carbon fibre
shroud. The table top can be effortlessly stowed and deployed by a simple push
of a button. The newly designed “Stackable Galley” consists of a zero
clearance, even-flow convention oven and microwave. Both appliances offer a
fully graphical LCD display with capacitive switch control buttons.
