The Channel Islands Aircraft Registry, better known as 2-REG, has taken another significant step in its expansion and development by gaining a foothold in Asia.

Several senior inspectors have recently qualified as 2-REG Airworthiness Surveyors. They will conduct airworthiness surveys, necessary to issue a Certificate of Airworthiness (CoA), and serve existing and future 2-REG clients in the Asia-Pacific region. Coordination will be handled in Singapore under management of the Guernsey 2-REG office.

Wim Ovaa, executive director of 2-REG, says: “By welcoming these highly qualified and experienced airworthiness surveyors to our expanding team, we underline our commitment to providing high quality, a client focus and close proximity to our customers.”

Luc Beaudoin, marketing director of 2-REG, adds: “Asia is an important market for 2-REG. Through a strong presence in the region it allows us to continue serving corporate jet owners and aircraft lessors swiftly, with minimum travel cost and time and with surveyors familiar with local circumstances.”
