Embraer has expanded its centre, located at the company’s headquarters in São José dos Campos, which began operations in 2009. During this time, the fleet of Embraer executive jets has multiplied by five.

The new facilities have been designed to provide operational, technical and maintenance support for the global fleet of business jets.

Edson Carlos Mallaco, vice president of customer support and services, said: “Investing in support and services for full customer satisfaction has been one of our competitive advantages, which is proven by product support surveys conducted by the trade press. Our contact centre is staffed by experienced professionals who are qualified to provide services for different levels of events.”

While appearing at the Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE) 2014 in Brazil, Embraer also announced its new Legacy 500 business jet has gained certification from the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency.

There are currently more than 780 Embraer Executive Jets aircraft in operation in over 50 countries.
