The Air Charter Association has set out an ambitious strategy for 2020, with the purpose of being recognised as the “go to” source for the air charter industry. As part of the plan, the Association has created a mission statement, thus: “We aim to be the leaders in self-regulation and promoters of supply chain relationships for the air charter industry. We aspire to be the primary source of air charter industry information, to provide support and guidance to our members and external authorities and to hold first-class networking events and trade gatherings.”

This strategy outlines detailed objectives for the short, medium and long term. In order to progress these aims and deliver on these projects effectively, the Association has created a number of new working groups. To complement the Association’s rebrand last year, the Council team will now be known as The Air Charter Association Board and individuals will be Board Members, rather than Council Members. The new working groups will comprise members of the Board with specialist knowledge and expertise in specific areas.

The Association will continue to hold its two very successful Spring and Autumn lunch events, and exhibit at EBACE Geneva, alongside its now firmly established Networking Reception at Mr Pickwick. A key event in the Association’s calendar for 2020 will once again be Air Charter Expo (ACE20), a conference and exhibition taking place at London Biggin Hill Airport on 15th September.

Speaking about these developments, the Chairman of The Air Charter Association, Nick Weston said: “These are very exciting times for the Association and I am confident that the creation of the working groups will help drive the Association’s plans forward during this year and into the future.”
