Having initially established himself as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa, Mike Berry has since been involved in a variety of industry sectors including manufacturing, insurance, telecommunication and aviation.
Mike joined ExecuJet Middle East in 2002 as a Financial Director. In 2004 Mike’s prominent ability in ExecuJet saw him progress to the role of Managing Director – Middle East, overseeing the general management of the region including new and pre-owned sales, product support, aircraft management, flight operations, FBO and maintenance services.
His main objective for the region focuses on the development of ExecuJet as the premier business aviation service and solutions provider. Having become one of the main contenders in the Middle East Aviation market, Mike is confident that ExecuJet will remain prominent in the region.
Since becoming the Managing Director, Mike has seen ExecuJet Middle East move into a state of the art facility at Dubai International Airport, expanding support capabilities with over 240 employees and includes plans to open a new facility at Dubai South.
In late 2015 Mike became President Aviation Services of ExecuJet and in 2017 expanded this role to the whole Luxaviation Group being appointed Executive VP Luxaviation Group.
Managing Director, Head of Corporate Aircraft Finance, UBS
Johan was approached by UBS to set-up and head the Corporate Aircraft Finance team, and joined the bank in 2005 in Zurich.
Since the team was established in 2006, UBS has, under Johan’s leadership, grown its portfolio of business jets extensively. UBS was awarded “Best Financier Europe 2013” and “Best Private Bank in EMEA 2014” for corporate jet financings, “Best Business Jet Financier 2015” and “Best Business Support Services 2015” in APAC.
Johan started his career in commodity trading, and joined a large Swiss bank in 1999 to specialise in aircraft financing. He has since put his significant experience and understanding of the aircraft financing market at the disposal of the bank’s clients and, with his team, supports the bank’s WM business. Johan speaks German, French, English and Swedish.
Johan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Banking and Finance) from the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich. Furthermore, Johan is also an Export Specialist with Swiss Federal Certificate and a certified Corporate Banker.

With almost 25 years of aviation and management experience, Abdul is responsible for UAS’ global development and sales efforts, as the company continuously innovate to create stronger connections between client requirements and UAS’ service offering. He manages global sales operations and sales force across four continental headquarters and regional offices worldwide. His specialties include sales forecasting and planning, turnaround and high growth strategies, B2B sales management, market development and expansions and contract negotiations.
For the past two years he has worked alongside the executive management team to set strategic direction for each of UAS’ market segments. The results have translated into an aggressive expansion of UAS’ global network to include offices in Johannesburg, Houston, Hong Kong, Dubai, Beijing, Lagos, Nairobi, New Delhi, additional sales force in Europe, South East Asia and Latin America, and on-site airport supervisory support across Africa.
Group Private Jets Director, Air Charter Service
Andy Christie has been instrumental in the growth of both Air Charter Service Private Charter division and the North American offices. Andy began his career at ACS in 2004 in the London Passenger department, before moving to New York to head up the US Private Jet Department in 2008, and was later promoted to President of North America. During this time, Andy secured certification for ACS as an approved charter service by the US Government and opened two more offices in both Houston and LA respectively, before returning to the UK in 2014 to lead all private aircraft operations worldwide. Andy has also been responsible for managing the ACS European offices, Global Jet Card Department and The Travel Division. Throughout his time with ACS, Andy has worked with numerous Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies and has developed important relationships with HNWI and C-Level executives over the last 15 years. He has extensive charter experience in several key fields including medical, sports and entertainment and has been welcomed as a guest panellist at a number of industry events in both the US and Europe. In 2015 he was invited to join in the Mountfitchet Group Board. When not dealing in the world of air charter, Andy is a keen mountain biker and snowboarder.

Daniella Dawson is Sales Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the boutique charter specialist Vertis Aviation. Based in Dubai Daniella is responsible for expanding Vertis Aviation’s presence across the EMEA region and beyond. With a mandate that focuses on supporting the boutique charter company through ad-hoc charter sales, global business development and ACMI services, she plays an essential part in Vertis Aviation’s global operations.

Rob DiCastri is a forward-thinking Global Senior Executive with over 25 years of International leadership in Aviation and Hospitality and a Management Consultant to leading corporations in various industries. This includes more than 10 years in the Middle East, where he played a key role in establishing National Air Services (flynas) / Net Jets Middle East (now NasJet) in Saudi Arabia as CFO and Head of Strategy.

Mr. Jonathan Deutsch rejoined JSSI in 2013 and is the responsible JSSI Sales Director for the African Continent.
Mr. Deutsch has advanced experience in the African markets working with clients especially in Nigeria for the last 5 years. Previously, Mr. Deutsch was responsible for the Pre-Owned Aircraft Sales department within the Jet Alliance Group in Austria. This is where he won his first experience in the African markets while doing Pre- Owned Aircraft Sales, Operate and Purchase Leases. Prior, Mr. Deutsch was the regional Sales Manager for JSSI in Europe, Middle East and North Africa.
Mr. Deutsch is the Owner of a Consulting Company specialized in aircraft transactions in the Emerging Markets. He is holder of a CPL/IFR, frozen ATP License and holds a Science Master Degree in Microbiology and Genetics from the University of Vienna.
Commercial Director, Royal Jet
Simon commenced his private jet business career in 2002 with Geneva based PrivatAir who sent him to start up their Saudi operation as Vice President Sales and Business Development based in Jeddah.
He has worked in business aviation since then holding a number of Executive Level positions with companies such as Rizon Jet in Qatar, NetJets/NAS in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prime Aviation in Kazakhstan and MJets in Bangkok.
Prior to joining Royal Jet in August 2019 he worked at Constellation Aviation Services in Dubai leaving as GM and CEO.
General Manager, ExecuJet Africa
Philip is experienced in various industries: from marketing and advertising to retail and business aviation. He’s got a keen sense of identifying business opportunities and managing business turnaround strategies. His client-centric, business outcomes-focused, and interactive management style have lead companies and teams to great success during challenging organisational transformations.
He mostly sees himself as a student of life. A corporate entrepreneur that takes pride in his work and ability to turn challenges into opportunities. His interest in business – and specifically how teams contribute to an organisation’s success – prompted a further study in both business management as well as business psychology and human behaviour.
From a personal perspective, Philip has a passion for all things flight-related. He completed his Private Pilot’s License and chose a career in the aviation industry that keeps this passion alive. JP is a shareholder and the Executive Director, Aircraft Sales of NAC,
the largest General Aviation player in Africa.
With over twenty years of wide-spread global experience in the aviation
industry his personal and corporate experience ranges across
international aircraft financing, aircraft sales, aircraft ownership and
management, financial planning, investment management, risk coverage
and brokerage. In these fields he was both awarded, and recognised
internationally as achiever and pioneer. His varied background includes
being fully trained and conversant with the FMCG environment, the
Insurance sector, Financial planning as a holder of a Financial Services
Provider license and being a licensed Diamantaire. Besides his
particular interest in the earth’s geology and our origin, he also has a
majority interest in a financial brokerage and asset management

Yosef F Hafiz is Vice President of Sales & Marketing for NasJet, the largest private aviation operator in the Middle East, who has been leading the commercial department to new levels of success with a strong focus on Aircraft Management in the region. Yosef joined NasJet in 2004 moving through the various ranks and departments within the organization including Engineer, Aircraft Acceptance and Completions, and Sales. Yosef has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and also holds a Commercial Pilot license.
Head of Marketing Information Management Services EMEA, Collins Aerospace
James Hardie is responsible for Collins Aerospace global marketing and strategic planning for ARINCDirect services. ARINCDirect was established in the USA in 2003 to provide direct access for business jet operators to ARINC communication services. Additional services such as flight planning, were quickly established and continue to be developed. He took responsibility for the ARINCDirect business development in EMEA in early 2006 and subsequently in the Asia Pacific region.
Based in the UK, James joined ARINC in 2001 and has worked with various flight departments around the world providing and developing products and services to meet their needs. Now part of Collins Aerospace IMS division, he has been involved in various projects related to airline and business aircraft operations and communications. James also has a background as a pilot with a CPL(A) and military helicopter experience
Head of Commercial, Constellation Aviation
Samih Kadora is an experienced professional with an efficacious history of working in the aviation industry. He has over 17 years of experience in sales and marketing with 13 years dedicated to the business aviation industry. Samih’s attitude, experience and vision in Commercial Business Development is exceptional and so he effectively establishes strategies and creates pricing mechanisms that are competitive with market fluctuations.
Over the years, Samih has developed and maintained excellent rapports with his clients and customers through established proficiency and trust. Samih is responsible for Constellation Aviation’s global sales and marketing as well as the strategic placement of the company’s fleet. He has achieved a master’s degree specialising in project management from the University of Roehampton.
Samih is currently working on launching the Medical Evacuation business for Constellation Aviation as well as expanding the business into the Africa region.
Vice President, ExecuJet Africa
Gavin Kiggen is an experienced industry professional with over 29 years’ experience in aviation.
In 1989, after completing his military service, Gavin studied as an aircraft engineer at South African Airways. After qualifying and spending a few years honing his skills, he continued his studies to become a flight engineer, working on aircraft such as Boeing 747’s and Boeing 727’s worldwide, whilst pursuing his pilot’s licence. Gavin flew for many of South Africa’s major commercial airlines such as British Airways/Comair, Safair and Nationwide Airlines, between 1999 and 2008. It was at Nationwide Airlines where Gavin gave instruction and redirected his career into flight operations.
In 2008, Gavin joined ExecuJet’s Flight Operations Department as Aviation Services Manager and in 2009, became Flight Operations Manager. He refined the processes and procedures in terms of the regulations and implemented a full aircraft dispatch procedure, a first for General Aviation in South Africa. In addition, Gavin proactively got involved with supporting and growing ExecuJet’s FBO, Charter and Managed Aircraft business.
Gavin is on the Board of Directors for the African Business Aviation Association (AfBAA), as well as Commercial Aviation Association Southern Africa (CAASA).
In 2014 Gavin was promoted to Flight Operations Director – Africa and shortly thereafter Director of Aviation for Africa.
In November 2017 Gavin was promoted to Vice President Africa.
Gavin is a very proud father of three children – Ross (17), Taryn (14) and Kate (6 months).
Executive Vice President Sales, Comlux
After graduating from the University of Stuttgart and the Georgia Institute of Technology both with a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering Tobias Laps started his career at Jet Aviation in Basel in aircraft completions in 1999 as an engineer. Spending 5 years at Jet Aviation he was promoted to engineering project coordinator after only 6 months and Sales & Program Manager after 2 and half years selling various completion projects. After that he worked for 4 years at a subsidiary of Saab in Hamburg as a Branch Manager winning customers and growing the business significantly. He then was offered a job at ExecuJet in aircraft sales and later as a General Manager of the Berlin facility. Before joining Comlux, he was recruited as Head of Sales at RUAG in Munich in the area of business aircraft maintenance and refurbishment where he was able to secure large cabin modification and refurbishment projects.
Tobias also holds a Private Pilot License since over 20 years and is passionate about aviation.
Tobias joined the Comlux team in November of 2015 as Vice President Sales for Western Europe, Asia and India. In 2018, Tobias is appointed Senior Vice President, Head of Sales for Large VIP Aircraft.
In 2019, Tobias was promoted Executive Vice President Sales, Large VIP aircraft.
Founder & CEO, Krimson Aviation
Dawit Lemma is the Founder and CEO of Krimson Aviation – an aviation support services company based in Ethiopia and Switzerland since 2015. He is a Swiss citizen, but of Ethiopian origin, and has lived and/or worked all over the world; from Zambia to Afghanistan, the USA to Switzerland – making him a true global citizen. Dawit returned to Ethiopia in 2012, after almost 30 years abroad, as he recognized the thriving potential and opportunities being displayed by Ethiopia’s economic resurgence.
He is a graduate of Purdue University in the USA, where he received a degree in Aeronautical Engineering & Flight Technology. In addition, he received an MSc. degree in Aviation Management & Marketing from the Basel Business College in Switzerland. Dawit also holds an Airframe & Power- plant Mechanic’s License (American FAA), Commercial Pilot’s License (American FAA, South African CAA, Swiss FOCA/EASA), and an EASA Frozen ATPL. He has over 20 years of experience in the aviation sector across 4 continents, with a cache of notable experience garnered at leading companies from around the world, including TAG Aviation, Emirates Airlines, MAF, and Ethiopian Airlines, to name a few.

Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Steve is an educated engineer, master blackbelt, working sales professional with a strong background in private, business, and commercial aviation. Having more than 30 years of experience at GE in engineering, customer/product support and sales, Steve’s primary focus is business aviation engine and OnPoint sales and service on GE CF34, Passport and CFM engines powering Boeing Business Jets, Airbus Corporate Jets, Bombardier and Embraer Business Jets within his regions around the world.
As a pilot, Steve comes from a family of pilots and has enjoyed the pleasure and challenges of aircraft ownership as well.

Ian Moore has served as Chief Commercial Officer of VistaJet since 2010 and is a Director of the company’s UK subsidiary. Ian is responsible for global market expansion, commercial negotiations, sales, marketing, customer service and product delivery.
Previously he worked in various roles including Vice President Strategy & Sales, Sales Manager and Strategy & Analysis Manager for NetJets Europe, from 2002 to 2008.
Ian also served as Vice President Sales & Marketing for the business jet subsidiary of TATA, Business Jets Pvt Ltd (BJETS), from 2008 to 2010.

Michael is as an asset finance lawyer, based in Clyde & Co’s Dubai office. Michael has experience in the financing and leasing of business and commercial aircraft and helicopters, the financing of vessels and the financing and leasing of equipment and vehicles. Michael graduated from the University of Nottingham (Law LLB), studied the Legal Practice Course at BPP and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2009.

During the buildup stages Holger formed a team in Dubai to provide technical expertise on developing the hangar facility structure, establishing all operational, administrative and commercial structures, as well as obtaining a UAE aircraft operator certificate and a CAR 145 maintenance organization.
Originally educated at Frankfurt’s Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Germany in the area of Sports Science, Biology and Education he built his career with extensive experience in the areas of airline operations, aircraft brokerage, flight support as well as obtaining a commercial flight crew license back in 2001.

Head of Business Development, ACJ (Airbus Corporate Jets)
Mid 2006, Jean-Noel joined Airbus team in Dubai as Sales Contract Director, looking after airlines in Middle East. Mid 2008, he became ACJ North Asia Sales Director. In Sep 2010, he moved to Hong Kong and in June 2015, his regional responsibilities were extend to whole Asia.
Jean-Noel also served as Chairman of the not-for-profit Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) from 2011 to 2013. Under his leadership, AsBAA notably doubled its members, launched the 1st ABACE in Shanghai and created the Hong-Kong, Mainland China and South East Asia chapters.
Mid 2016, Jean-Noel moved to HQs (Toulouse – France) to his current position. His main mission is to develop initiatives supporting commercial activities with clients and industry influencers.
Jean-Noel graduated from Toulouse Business School. He started his carrier with Airbus in 1995 in the Customer Support division. In between his Airbus experiences, JeanNoel worked for Schneider Electric for 10+ years successively as Financial Controller in Middle East; Country CFO in South Korea; Project Manager at corporate level and West Africa General Manager based in Senegal.
Vice President, Satcom Direct International
Michael Skou Christensen has over ten years of experience with satellite communications within the
private aviation industry. In 2013, Michael lead the opening of SD’s Australasia office, where he acted as
Managing Director until 2016. He is now the Vice President for SD International, where he is responsible
for establishing and growing the sales, support, marketing and training presence across the international
business. His various roles throughout his time in aviation have seen him involved with many different
parts of the value chain, from OEMs and completion centers to end-customers. He holds a bachelor’s
degree in Engineering, and a master’s degree in International Management.
President, Arena Group
Jane has over 30 years’ professional experience working in business development positions in the media, communications, aviation, and travel sectors. She has run and sold two successful companies, and with a first-class MBA under her belt and a specialisation in crisis comms, launched her third business Arena Group in January 2017.
With firm foundations in the sales, business development, marketing and communications arenas working with leading international corporations Arena Group now supports SMEs in finding the voice of the company to communicate with internal and external marketplaces. She has spent significant time working in Africa, was part of the founding AfBAA team, and organised business aviation events in Nigeria, South Africa, Morocco and Ethiopia. Jane believes Africa’s future lies in the continued sustainable development of the business and general aviation sectors.
She has lived and worked in London, New York, Mallorca, Japan and Montreal, which brings an international perspective to any corporate situation. Driven by a desire to explore, and discover Jane is always seeking out new potential in the companies she works with.

Olivers practice has a primary focus on aviation finance matters, providing advice to equipment financiers, airlines, owners and operators on all types of cross border transaction structures.
He is experienced in documenting, negotiating and executing aircraft and engine financing, leasing and trading transactions, and has advised clients that together represent the full range of industry participants on transactions concerning all classes of commercial and business aircraft.
Oliver is notably active in the corporate jet market, where he has a strong practice representing financiers, high net-worth individuals and operators.
Oliver is recommended as a leading aviation finance lawyer by legal directories Chambers HNW, Legal 500 EMEA Whos Who Legal and Euromoneys Guide to Aviation Lawyers, as well as by Corporate Jet Investor magazine. Most recently, Chambers reported that he is very much a known entity and an established participant in the private aviation sector and that he is absolutely a go-to in the Middle East. He is knowledgeable, understands the market and understands how people operate in the region. His focus on that means that he is able to answer complex questions quickly.

Senior Vice President, Stonebriar Commercial Finance
Don Walsh is currently Senior Vice President of Originations for Stonebriar Commercial Finance, Business Aviation, the company’s global business aviation financing platform.
Don joined Stonebriar from Guggenheim Partners, where he was most recently a Managing Director and oversaw new transaction origination activity for Guggenheim’s Business Aircraft Investments group. He brings over 25 years of experience in the business aviation finance industry, previously originating transactions at US Bank Equipment Finance, Key Equipment Finance and Boeing Capital Corporation. He joined Boeing Capital following the merger between The Boeing Company and McDonnell Douglas Corporation. He previously worked at McDonnell Douglas Finance Corporation as an Asset Manager, responsible for the company’s portfolio of business aircraft operating leases. Prior to joining McDonnell Douglas Finance, he worked at Equitable Life Leasing Corporation as a lease manager. Don received a BS from University of the Pacific and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
Senior Vice President, Business Development EMEAA, JSSI
Mr. Winzar brings many years of aviation experience to his role as Senior Vice President, Business Development – EMEAA. He began his aviation career as a helicopter engineer in the UK and spent eight years specializing in military helicopters with the Ministry of Defense. From there, he moved into commercial business before joining the BBA central sales team at H+S Aviation. During this time, he was responsible for generating business on all engine types covered within the BBA group. After four years, Mr. Winzar was promoted to Commercial Manager and was part of the team that set up the new PWC JT15D program at H+S, the company’s first fan engine type. He was also responsible for the combined commercial operations of both the Field Service and JT15D programs.
Mr. Winzar joined JSSI in 2009 as a Technical Services Representative and was promoted to Technical Services Manager two years later. He was integral in setting up the JSSI office in Hong Kong and expanding the business in Asia. Today, he leads business development activities in the EMEA and APAC regions.
