Passionate people
At the start of our London Corporate Jet Investor Conference we asked delegates to vote on which word they expected to hear the most.
‘Bifurcation’ and ‘Cautiously Optimistic’ were, unsurprisingly, popular picks and did appear several times. But it was fantastic that another word kept coming up in sessions: ‘Passion.’
The recovery that many people hoped would arrive in 2014 did not come. And with problems in the Eurozone and Russia, people outside the US are probably more cautiously realistic than cautiously optimistic.
(Conspiracy theorists also noted that the hotel fire alarm went off during a session on Russian sanctions. Although at least it was not raining.)
But the 350 people at the conference all believe that the market will improve. And with so many people clearly passionate about business aviation, it will.
