Company opens new FBO early

Weston Aviation staff welcome FlairJet crewWeston Aviation recently opened its doors early ahead
of its 1 June target date due to early demand for its services from the region.
The Weston Aviation handling team along with Humberside Airport
management welcomed the Embraer Phenom100 from FlairJet and presented the crew
with a bottle of champagne on arrival to mark the occasion.

Nick Weston, managing director of Weston Aviation
welcomed the FlairJet crew as they touched down. “This is an excellent start to
our new Business Aviation Centre at Humberside
Airport. We were working
hard towards opening on time for the 1 June and then we started to receive
requests for handling dates in late May so we decided work around the clock to
open the doors early to accommodate the high level of demand that we have
received”

Mike Chamberlain, ground operations director at
FlairJet added “We are delighted to be the first aircraft handled by Weston
Aviation at Humberside. This extends a long standing relationship between
FlairJet and its personnel and Weston Aviation and we wish them every success
with their new venture”

Paul Litten, head of Business Development, Humberside Airport
said; “Opening for business ahead of schedule due to demand, is a great
indication of Weston Aviation’s future at Humberside Airport.
The business secured in the first week of operating from a brand new dedicated
fixed based operation, clearly demonstrates the strength of their reputation
and the need for a business aviation facility in the region. We would like to
take this opportunity to wish them every success for the future.”

Humberside Airport is
the third UK FBO developed and operated by Weston Aviation, joining its other facilities
at Durham Tees
Valley and Newquay Cornwall
Airports.
