Law firm Watson, Farley & Williams (WFW) is continuing to expand its aviation practice with the hire of a corporate jet and helicopter finance team from Berwin Leighton Paisner.
Law firm Watson, Farley & Williams (WFW) is continuing to expand its aviation practice with the hire of a corporate jet and helicopter finance team from Berwin Leighton Paisner.
The team comprises partner Nicola Davies, senior associate Michael Savva and senior paralegal Laura Foster, who between them have over 20 years’ experience advising banks, owners, borrowers and operators in the financing (both PDP and delivery financing) and leasing of corporate jets and helicopters.
The team has worked with long-standing client CHC Helicopter on the financing of its fleet of Sikorsky, Eurocopter and Agusta helicopters operated across a number of jurisdictions, as well as Lloyds, RBS, FB Heliservices and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
They are the latest arrivals to WFW’s Asset Finance team, following the arrival of three new aviation finance partners from Reed Smith and Clifford Chance.
