VistaJet wins ASBAA’s best charter operator award

VistaJet has won the best charter operator award from the Asian Business Aviation Association (ASBAA).
The award was handed over to VistaJet during ASBAA’s annual Icons of Aviation Awards, held in Hong Kong in early November.
To win the award VistaJet had to get through two stages of voting. The first stage was voted for by the Asian business aviation community, with several operators going through to a second round. The final stage is voted on by ASBAA’s own members.
“Asia is a really important market for us, so we are particularly delighted to have received this award from AsBAA.” said Thomas Flohr, chairmon and founder, VistaJet. “Our focus is always to provide the best possible service for our customers, and it is great to be recognized for that. We have worked hard to provide a unique offer for our Asian customers, including individually tailoring the cabin experience so they can enjoy the same personal and intimate service wherever they are in the world.”
VistaJet launched a partnership with locally based Apex Air during 2015, transferring a Challenger 850 to the local Chinese registry. By doing this the company to operate domestic flights within China.
The company has seen record growth so far in 2016, with triple figure growth between China and Europe, as well as the US.
“AsBAA wishes to congratulate all the winners of its Icons of Aviation Asia Awards on a wonderful evening at the Hotel Icon in Hong Kong in association with Orbis Charity & its Flying Eye Hospital. One of the many deserved award winners was VistaJet who were crowned ‘Best Charter Operator 2016’ by its peers. Congratulations to the VistaJet team and we wish them continued success for the future.” said Charlie Mulaski, chairman, ASBAA.
VistaJet has been steadily growing its fleet since the introduction of its first LearJet’s in 2005. Earlier in 2016 the operator took delivery of a number of Challenger 350 and Global 6000 aircraft, taking its total fleet size to 70 aircraft.
