VistaJet co-hosts Rockefeller art collection’s global tour

VistaJet, the global private-jet operator, is co-hosting the late David Rockefeller’s art collection, as it tours the world prior to being put up for auction.
The collection is being auctioned following the death of David Rockefeller in March 2017. His wife, Peggy Rockefeller passed away in 1996.
The Rockefeller’ family’s fortune was first built through oil, and in later years through banking and real estate.
The collection will be auctioned by Christie’s New York in May 2018. All proceeds from the sale will be given to charity.
“The Collection of Peggy and David Rockefeller is a unique collection of the finest works of art and objects,” said Nina Flohr of VistaJet. “The fact that 100% of the proceeds from the auction of the collection will be donated to charities worldwide is a remarkable philanthropic effort. We fully support the Rockefellers’ commitment to giving back, and our sponsorship is VistaJet’s way of facilitating and contributing to the exhibitions, auctions, and ultimately, the Rockefeller family’s charitable mission. We are very proud to support their initiative as the key global partner.”
VistaJet has introduced a special tour for its clients who are interested in viewing the collection, that takes in all of the stops on the tour.
Once at the tour stops, the passengers will be given a private tour of the collection. Additionally, clients booking the tour will be given one-year membership to ‘The Cultivist’, the global arts club.
