Vista is reporting triple-digit flight traffic growth during key events in Singapore as the country cements itself as a central hub in Southeast Asian business aviation.

In comparison with the daily average across 2024, Vista saw a 362% increase in traffic during the Taylor Swift Eras tour in Singapore. The Singapore Grand Prix also prompted a 168% surge in daily average flight traffic .

The findings were shared during a panel discussion hosted by Vista on ultra-high-net-worth trends in Singapore featuring insights from Amy Yang, VP of marketing, APAC & IMEA, Vista; Christine Li, head of research, Asia Pacific, Knight Frank; and Ewa Stachurska, chief marketing and sustainability officer, Sanlorenzo Asia Pacific.

“With the rising trend of bleisure travel — where business and leisure are seamlessly intertwined — Singapore has consistently ranked among the top destinations for Vista’s clientele,” said Yang.

In 2024, VistaJet saw a 10% growth in its memberships in Southeast Asia, whilst Vista’s private jet marketplace XO saw year-on-year flight traffic growth double in Singapore last year.

Knight Frank’s Li said: “According to The Wealth Report 2025, Asia Pacific is predicted to account for 47.5% of the global UHNW population created between 2025-2028.”

While Singapore is the hub of Southeast Asia’s luxury ecosystem, Vista is also seeing activity pick up elsewhere in the region including: Kuching, Malaysia; Da Nang, Vietnam and Sorong, Indonesia.

Meanwhile, established favourites such as the Maldives, Phuket and Bali continue to see good levels of traffic, according to the company.

Vista is also seeing a rise in demand in other regions. Last month, Vista subsidiary VistaJet announced it was bringing its first Cessna Citation XLS to the UK in response to a surge in demand for domestic flights in the country.

The aircraft will operated through a partnership with Norfolk-based Saxon Air.

Nick van der Meer, chief operating officer of Vista, said: “Welcoming this Citation XLS onto a UK Certificate, in partnership with Saxon Air, allows us to offer domestic services on the Vista Members’ fleet. This not only enhances our ability to meet short notice demand, but also strengthens our scheduling flexibility.”

Vista also closed Preferred Equity and Term Loan B transactions totalling $1.3bn in the first quarter of this year.
