Vista America receives FAA Diamond Award

Vista America has been awarded the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Diamond Award of Excellence, the highest FAA distinction for maintenance training in the US.
The Diamond Award of Excellence recognises organisations that uphold the highest standards of safety, training and regulatory compliance. To earn this award, 100% of eligible maintenance technicians must complete a year-long specialised training programme.
The award follows several milestones for Vista America. The company recently unveiled an in-house flight simulator at its Columbus, Ohio headquarters and has achieved Triple Crown safety status, a top-tier industry distinction that includes Wyvern Wingman Pro, ARGUS Platinum Elite and IS-BAO Stage 3.
The company has also been at the forefront of implementing Evidence-Based Training (EBT) principles in the US, mirroring the efforts of its operating partner, VistaJet, the first business aviation company globally to receive formal approval for EBT.
Earlier in February, VistaJet announced a deal with Bombardier for 40 Challenger 3500 business jets with options for a further 120 aircraft. The initial order is valued at US$1.18bn based on 2026 list prices. The total value could reach US$4.72bn.
