Victor hires NetJets marketing man

Victor, on online marketplace for private jet charter, has appointed Ricardo Gato as marketing manager.
Gato has spent the previous seven years at NetJets, where he was in charge of media spend throughout Europe and search globally, following a role in operational analysis, digital and direct marketing.
Now at Victor, he will be responsible for evaluating advertising and sponsorship opportunities as well as digital and direct marketing.
Gato follows Dan Northover and Saavik Abramov who joined Victor’s marketing department earlier in the year from Engine Group and VCCP respectively.
Northover said: “Finding people who understand the mind-set of our customers is key, Ricardo brings with him a combination of both aviation and marketing experience, but most important of all, a clear understanding of our audience.”
“So far, it’s been an amazing journey for me in the private aviation industry and I am thrilled to be joining Victor at such an exciting time,” said Gato. “Victor has revolutionised the industry through its transparency and technology. I look forward to contributing to the Victor success story.”
In October, Victor, which is led by marketing entreprenuer Clive Jackson, announced that it had reached 10,000 members since launching in 2011 with 20 members.
