Universal Avionics appoints new regional sales manager

Lorrie White has joined Universal Avionics as its new regional sales manager for northeast US.

White (pictured), who has been in the aviation industry for more than 15 years, had a range of sales and technician positions before joining the Arizona-based avionics systems manufacturer. She replaces Tom Hook, who is retiring after 33 years with Universal Avionics.

“We are excited to have Lorrie join our sales team here at Universal,” said Robert Randall, the company’s US sales manager. “Her past experience and professionalism make her a perfect fit with our organisation. We look forward to her contributing to our sales team and working closely with our authorised dealer and integrator network in the North-eastern United States region.”

White is a US Navy veteran and in her spare time is the assistant director of special projects for the Naval Air Station Museum in Fort Lauderdale, where she helps with research, fundraising, and dive excavations of WW2 aircraft lost off the Florida coast.
