Universal Aviation and Le Castellet Airport co-brand FBO
Universal Aviation and Le Castellet International Airport in France signed an agreement to co-brand the airport’s FBO. The FBO will become a co-branded member of the Universal Aviation ground support network.
François Andre, director general, Le Castellet Airport, said: “Le Castellet is seeing increased traffic and usage as both a great destination and technical stop in the Cotes d’Azur region. We identified a need to partner with a ground support provider with a proven track record of high standards and customer service to meet that demand.”
“We believe Universal Aviation will enhance service levels for operators to Le Castellet and that the well-known and respected Universal Aviation brand will help further increase awareness of the value Le Castellet offers,” added Andre.
Jonathan Howells, senior vice president, Universal said: “Our partnership with Le Castellet will help increase our clients’ operating flexibility when traveling to the high-traffic South of France region.”
“Le Castellet is strategically located on the Cotes D’Azur and will provide our clients with longer-term parking options, as well as an extremely convenient jumping off point for road or helicopter transfers to destinations including St Tropez and nearby locations,” aded Howells.
Le Castellet has many features making it an attractive destination for business aviation operators, including large BBJ-sized hangars, 5-star and 3-star hotels onsite and its proximity to the Circuit Paul Ricard Formula 1 track added Howells.
