Brett King, Michael Hoggan, and Scott Nielsen have left Bank of Utah’s trust group to join TVPX, the 1031 exchange and trust services company.

“We have enjoyed our years at Bank of Utah, but we were looking for a new platform that would allow us to be more responsive to the needs of our aviation trust clients, and the timing could not have been better to team up with TVPX,” said King, Hoggan and Nielsen in a statement. “The TVPX team is already well respected in aviation circles and we are excited that we will now be in a position to provide the most flexible and the highest quality trust solutions available in the industry.”

The three spent eight years at Bank of Utah joining from Wells Fargo Corporate Trust Services.

“We are very excited to have Brett, Michael and Scott join Dave Wall and the rest of our team at TVPX” said Tobias Kleitman, President of TVPX. “Their professionalism, integrity and name recognition make them a perfect fit for TVPX.  Since we launched our trust division in 2014, we have experienced tremendous growth and the addition of Brett, Mike and Scott will allow us to continue to expand and improve the services that our aviation clients have come to expect from TVPX over the last 14 years. Our latest hires bring the combined aviation experience of our TVPX team to well over 100 total years.”

TVPX launched its registration business with a particular focus on helping non-US aircraft owners register aircraft in the US.

Jeff Towers, general counsel of TVPX, said: “Brett, Michael and Scott have impeccable reputations and credentials and their interest in teaming up with TVPX is a clear vote of confidence that TVPX is and will continue to be a top-tier aviation trust provider.”
